Tensions rise as the Evil Inc villains confront the possibility that someone other than Cassie tampered with their files. What began as a clear-cut case of betrayal becomes murkier when Jeremy reveals a broader breach.

Transcript

Panel 1:
Lethal Librarian (frustrated, gesturing with her hands): “Phenomenal Lass is still outside my safehouse! My scheme is ruined!

Cassie Cruz : How many ambulance drivers could this city possibly have?!”

Panel 2:
Lethal Librarian: “She’s gone through all of them. Now there’s a candlelight vigil for the fallen.”

Panel 3:
Phenomenal Lass (on stage): “I’m filled with a special, warm feeling when we come together like this…. Ooh! Sorry… just a little candlewax… ~giggle~”

Panel 4:
Jeremy (reading from phone): “Um… Ma’am…? The heroes are responding to reports of a behemoth in the city reservoir… And a bank being robbed by…”
Cassie: “Please don’t say ‘mutant chickens.’”

Panel 5:
Jeremy (continuing): "…mutant chickens.”
Angus the minotaur: “WOOF! I turned down both of those jobs — and the zombies — to work this gig!”

Panel 6:
Angus: “Hey… Why did everybody stop talking?”

Panel 7: (Several characters are standing in a room, discussing a mystery involving file access.)

Catnip:
"Wait. I thought we were mad at Cassie."

Giant Tess:
"We were."

Jeremy
"When we thought she was the only one with access to all the lies planted in our files!"

Iron Dragon
"Now it looks like someone else had access..."

Miss Match:
"So... any hench could be the culprit!"

Tempest:
"No. You'd need top-level clearance to access files across that many departments."

Panel 8: (The minotaur man turns to a woman in a red top with black straps.)

Desi:
"Spurlock, you're in charge of henches..."

Count Spurlock:
"The only ones with that level of clearance are Angus and Spider MacKenzie."

Skeletonized Spider MacKenzie:
"And I'm still dead!"
