Here’s what’s happening in the Evil Inc universe right now!

Angus is stocking the safehouse for his current employer, the Lethal Librarian. But he’s having a little problem with the next-door neighbor, who seems to have gotten the wrong impression of the minotaur.

The stress is enough to make a guy see red. But it’s nothing compared to what will happen when he gets an unexpected visitor.

Philadelphia Stoop Culture

As I drew Mrs. Elliot sitting out on her front stoop, talking to Angus, I realized that some of my readers might be unfamiliar with Philadelphia’s stoop culture. A “stoop” is a localized term for the steps leading up to the front door of your house, and traditionally, it’s where neighbors sit, drink a few frosty beverages, and be, well… neighborly. It’s a magical grey area between public space and private, and in an age of separation-by-social-media, it’s a rare opportunity to connect with people. Sitting out on your front stoop is a tradition that makes me very happy to live in Philadelphia.

Moore College Comics Expo

Although I’ve curtailed my comic convention appearances, I’ll be attending a few shows in the Philadelphia area this year. The first one is at the end of this month. I’ll sit at the National Cartoonists Society booth at the Moore College Comics Expo. I'll have copies of the new Evil Inc book and much more!
