2025-07-11 12:19:25 +0000 UTCLol, there’s no way you watched it two years ago—I’m pretty sure you only started reacting to SHINee last year, and the show itself is from last year too. HARD is indeed from 2023, but this was filmed in 2024 for their 16th anniversary, after Onew returned from his year-long hiatus. That’s why they said “long time no see” to him. :D It was also the first time they performed HARD live with Onew (outside of the SWC VI concert), since they had been promoting without him prior to that. Unfortunately, they didn’t do any variety shows this year for Poet Artist—there are only a few videos on the SHINee channel where they play some games among themselves. The animation they overlaid on the guy was of "No-Face," a popular character from Studio Ghibli’s Spirited Away. And yes, Onew even won a newcomer award for his role as a doctor in Descendants of the Sun. Speaking of Minho and exercising—there's been a bit of an inside joke/meme lately about how anyone who accepts his invitation to run or work out nearly dies. :D He recently took Chanyeol and Kai for a run, and afterward, they both posted about how brutal and exhausting it was. Now people are jokingly scared to commit. Lol.

The Hangout With Yoo interview part ends around the 49-minute mark. After that, there's the performance segment you've already seen, followed by Onew's episodes on Song Stealer and Key’s appearance on I Live Alone. I’d actually recommend watching Song Stealer either after Hangout With Yoo or sometime later. It’s a unique and cool concept: the original artist defends their own songs while other artists try to “steal” them by performing covers. The audience then votes for the version they prefer, and if the covering artist wins, their version gets an official release. Onew appeared in three episodes—he defended SHINee’s “Love Like Oxygen” against Byul and “Dream Girl” against NMIXX's Lily and Sullyoon and also attempted to steal Byul's “December 32nd”.
