Last week was the week that was... kicking my butt!
— in a good way, of course. Last week was dominated by the first steps of Kickstarter fulfillment for my new books.
The files have been sent to the printer; I'm awaiting proofs. In the meantime, I've started to release the digital rewards.
The nomination round for the ’Ringo Awards ends Thursday. I would be grateful if you'd consider nominating Evil Inc for Best Humor Webcomic.

Smartphone edition
The new eBooks took a little longer than expected because I wanted to present each book in two versions. One version is the traditional full-page PDF that many of us are familiar with. These read very well on desktop computers and tablets.
The other version is a smartphone version. You can see a brief walkthrough in the video above. This, too, is a PDF, but instead of pages, I've assembled all of the panels in a continuous vertical scroll to make it easy for you to read on your smartphone! (I'm not aware of many people who do this... you'll have to let me know.)
Many of the eComics on my DriveThru store have smartphone editions available. My readers have told me that these smartphone editions make these books extremely readable, so they're definitely worth the extra work!
As many of you know, I do a weekly podcast about working in comics called ComicLab. I share a lot of opinions and advice on that show. The dangerous part is when I start to listen to myself!
One of the things I've been talking about is the importance of a summary to help acclimate new readers to your comic. Since rebooting the comic in 2016, I've done an awful lot of storytelling. This recent storyline wrapped up a lot of plot points that extend all the way to the beginning. So it seemed like a good point to do a series of comics that would help new readers find their footing — and even clarify some story elements for people who have been reading for a while.

The next few comics I post will summarize the Evil Inc storylines. Of course, I plan to have as much fun with the concept as I can. My goal is to produce some comics that introduce new readers to the comic at the same time it entertains those of you stalwarts who have been with me for a long time!
When finished, these pages will appear on the About page of the Evil Inc website and eventually be used in the opening pages of future graphic novels.
I love surprising my backers with bonus rewards. Last week, I delivered TWO exclusive eComics to you by my friend Adam Talley. And I've got even more fun planned for this week!
Speaking of extras, I'll be sending out a huge extra to everyone who joins us at an NSFW level by the end of the month! If you've been considering joining to see what all the fuss is about, this is the perfect time to splurge and treat yourself!

This 105-page eBook features some sensationally sizzling commissions. You're going to love it!
