Q.: Have you considered getting a booth at an adult convention, like EXXXOTICA?

A.: As a matter of fact, I have! I attended Exxxotica in 2015 with the main goal of scoping out the convention as a possible exhibitor. This is me with the lovely Adriana Chechik.

Photo ops aside, I was pretty devastated by the price of a booth. I decided that unfortunately, I would have to avoid —

As I was writing this piece, I decided to find out what a booth for Exxxotica in Edison, New Jersey would cost. The price was pretty close to what I had remembered — about $1,200 for a "small business" booth with no table/chairs. That's a little less than I paid for my half of a booth at San Diego Comic-Con back in the day. In other words, it was steep but not out of range.

Then, out of curiosity, I figured out how many books I would need to sell to cover that expense and...

...it wasn't as much as I thought it would be.

And if I managed to get the Kickstarter out the door by November, I would have a lot of new stock to sell in addition to two EiAD books and the NSFW hardcover.

So... maybe...?

Let's put it this way: Before this question came up, it would have been a solid "no." Now, it's officially on the table. If not this year, perhaps next year.
