9/26/19 - Status Update

Hello everyone! Going to be having a delay in updates this week because I was sick.

There are a few things I have lined up in future updates that I would love to share:

Brothel Changes

The current brothel system is using a reputation number to determine how difficult the clients are going to be. I'm going to be changing this to make a little more sense, and to give a more RPG-like feel to it.

Each place will have its own reputation number for the girls. It is the players job to go to that area and advertise the girls to get the reputation number to go up. This can be done by doing special events or putting up posters, or even just letting everyone have "free samples". Each advertisement will have a cost, whether it be gold or just stamina. 

The clients that come to the brothel will now have a static level depending on the area they are coming from, so Easthollow residents will be weaker than Greenhaven and so forth. The quantity of clients will be increased depending on your reputation, and the brothel will not have a client limit anymore. 

This will let you grind out whatever level clients you want/need to, and the new reputation variable for certain areas will allow for special quests to be created depending on what your reputation is. 

Battle Mechanics

I'm really starting to like the direction the battles are going, but It needs to be more than just spamming a button. In version 0.7.6, I removed the looping animations from the brothel and made it so that the animation only plays when you click a body part. I'll be adding a real time element to battles to make the player click a body part at a specific time. 

Think of rhythm games, Guitar Hero for example. I want combos to be like a guitar hero minigame where if the player wants to extend the combo they will have to fuck the girl at a specific time. This real time element will let me create memorable clients because the player can learn things like "goblins like to fuck one body part and speed up gradually", "Greenhaven residents like to switch body parts and fuck in short bursts instead of Easthollow residents who are more slow and steady".

To do this, I need to heavily reduce the amount of cum % is gained from fucking a girl, and I need to extend combos to at least 10.

This will only affect combos, you will be rewarded for hitting combos, but if you are way higher level than a client then you should still be able to spam any body part you want and speed through the battle.

NPCs

The current areas of the game need to be expanded on. My solution to making areas feel bigger is to add more people to them. More people = more side quests and more locations.

Conclusion

I was trying to fit the battle and brothel changes into one update and have it done by this weekend, but I got sick so I'm going to need a little more time.
