7/26/18 - Status Update
Added 2018-07-27 00:33:59 +0000 UTCHello everyone! Status updates will be free to the public now. I increased the minimum pledge for releases to $5 because I'm hoping if I can attract more patrons, then I'll be able to slowly start paying for art.
All of the current $3 patrons can stay as $3 patrons and still receive the updates, I'm not forcing you guys to switch to $5. If you want to continue supporting the game, please stay as $3 patrons as long as you would like because I don't think you can unpledge and then repledge for $3!
The game starting from 0.5.1 has a completely new story. It took me a really long time to finish this update, and I don't want to keep people waiting that long again. I'm thinking the best thing to do is to release updates more frequently, but only have the story progress little by little, as I continue working on it.
The reason why I think this is better is because It's a brothel game, with a story. I want to be able to dish out cool new updates to the brothel, while still working on the story slowly. For example, in 0.5.1, the story currently ends at a point in the game where Geoff has access to more wood, and with that wood I want to add more buildings to the brothel. So I can work on that and have something released way faster than having to wait til I'm done with another huge update.
We'll see how this goes. Hope you guys enjoy the changes I make!
