happy 2020!

 Hello everybody! happy 2020!

we want to share  some news.

In December, we had a long delay (those who came to us  recently did not feel it, but those who see pages 150 now see this  delay) ... the fact is that we are now actively trying to improve the  clothes of the characters. This seemed, in principle, not a very  difficult task, but as we plunged into it, we were forced to abandon  simple solutions that did not allow us to make normal, beautiful folds  of clothes and use more realistic physics.

This is an eternal problem  and most even large studios always try to “cheat” this problem by making  simplified clothes or using folds drawn on the texture. we decided to  go ahead and make realistic geometric folds without cheats. It seemed  quite simple and we did not think that it would cause delays for more  than a few days. However, as we dive into the topic, we discovered a  number of problems.

The current capabilities of the latest version of  the applications that we use do not allow us to work normally with folds  in fully automatic mode (so that the computer considers how folds  should be deformed in the name, depending on the character’s position.  It looked too sloppy and sophisticated, so we developed a technology to  create more pleasant and natural folds on clothes. Alas, it took 3 weeks  to fuss and this is not completely good.

We started this fuss because  of the decision to climb a couple more steps in quality. Comparison  after the first pages of the comic with the early, first pages ... we  see that the quality of the early pages is terrible and we will probably  create improved versions of them taking into account all the new  knowledge and experience that the entire comic book was of uniform  quality, and we will have to create clothes for 42 characters and this  is a tremendous amount of work, which is better done now than later to  turn over more pages of bad clothes. We decided to use the New Year  holidays to complete this improvement.

But, as I said, these delays will  be noticed mainly by A-club members who see the last pages. for all  others, updates will still be regular.
