Important Announcement

As I mentioned yesterday there is some important news and topics I need to talk about the future of my patreon, have in mind from this moment that all of the current activities and tier benefits will move forward, but there will be some changes starting november

First and very important, I'll be taking some days off from drawing starting november

I noticed a few weeks ago that I haven't taken a "proper" vacation since december 2018, back then I used to have a part-time job at a bakery, but even then I spent most of my vacation drawing and working on my patreon that had just started and setting up my twitter since it was the time when tumblr, my main social media platform back then, went throug some changes and banned a lot of users. Back then I was glad it happened during my vacations, but the next time I decided to take some time off from drawing I had to deal with a sudden change of plans and what initially was supposed to be a week of vacation ended up being just a weekend...

So I have decided that the best moment to take this time off will be the first weeks of november, since changes are coming I think it will be great to take a rest and come back fresh and ready for a new beginning

Have in mind that I will not leave if I haven't properly finished this month's work on time, and I'll be back as soon as the results of the monthly poll are ready.

I don't want to announce it as hiatus because I'll try to leave a couple of extra drawings scheduled for your entertain, so you don't feel my absence too much

Now, for the news:

• New Tier

After much thought I decided that starting next month I will be setting up a new tier at $10, alongside all of the benefits from the currently lower tiers the people who join it will have their monthly request colored (and will be a priority) it's going to have a very limited amount of slots so I recommend it for those who really want me to draw their ideas

• Patron's Request

This activity will remain almost as usual but there is one point I want to talk about: something I have struggled all my life is with routine, I do not work well with them; I had many different jobs in the last decade and no matter how much I have loved some of them the routine always kills any passion I can have for them, that's why I decided to become a full time artist in the first place, I like to try new things and that's the main reason why I encourage to send me characters I haven't done before for this activity(they are usually the first I do), but in the last couple of months I have noticed how people have been constantly sending the same characters every month for both of my activities (no matter if I just posted a drawing of them, I understand and share your love for them but it has become a routine I'm not passionate to follow) and in order to avoid this routine get me I decided to set up a new rule: I'll not draw the same character two months in a row, it will not matter if someone else from other tier requested them, I'll not take them into consideration

I sincerely hope you can understand, my biggest fear is to one day start to hate my job and I have done before, I love art and I do not want that love be tarnished by routine.

Have in mind that the total amount of request will not increase with the new Tier

• Patron's Suggestions

This activity is the one that will have the most changes: starting november I'll be posting only 1 sketch per month, I have taken this decision considering how much work I have to do (at least 22 drawings per month!), the main reason for delays is that I usually have to decide between finishing request or the results for the second sketch, so in order to improve this situation I have decided to change this activity, but fear not! because from now on those sketches will feature weight gain sequences more often, in fact I will drop the 1 character sketch and they will always feature a sequence or 2 or more characters

Have in mind that the change to patron's request will also apply to Suggestions, since the main idea is to keep it fresh and let new and more ideas be featured.

• Goals

If you have noticed I had a set up a goal that once reached all of the request would be colored, I have decided to remove it since wouldn't make sense making a new tier with the same benefit
I haven't decided how much yet, but I want to make a new goal that once reached all of the request will be full body, but I need to take into consideration how this change will affect my regular work times, so I'm leaving this as an idea for now since I need to see how all of the changes I'm planning to make help improve my current situation

I sincerely hope you can understand why I'm making these changes, my biggest wish is to keep making the art you like for years to come as long as my body allows it, your support is truly important to me because it gives me hope that this wish can be a reality
