Interview with Rounding The Earth's Matthew Crawford

Note: I (Aren) hit some button in the early part of the interview that messed up the recording. So it starts very abruptly. My bad, I'm trying to recover the missing segment and will re-release if I can fix it.

Check out our interview with Rounding The Earth Newsletter's Matthew Crawford. Matthew is a prolific writer, researcher, educator and truth-seeker who was generous with his time and came on to shoot the breeze.  Cody and I and Matthew hit it off right away and he's one of those guys who is able to opine about all the topics we're typically interested in.  Do yourself a favor and head over to his Substack (link below) and read his recent article titled A Grand Unified Theory of The FTX Disaster.  It's the most detailed and coherent explanation I've read for how the whole sick money laundering scam works.  We really enjoyed talking to this guy, and I'm going to give it a couple of weeks and hit him up again because we were just scratching the surface of what we could learn from him. Hope you enjoy it, and thanks for your continued patronage.

P.S. - I never got around to asking whether or not "Rounding the Earth" has anything to do with convincing Flat-Earthers that we're actually on a spinning ball corkscrewing through space and time as the cold, dead universe heads toward the final entropy and ultimate implosion. Next time, haha.

Man, my entire childhood was a PsyOp: G.I. Joe, Rambo, Captain Planet... Can't help but wonder what today's populace is being conditioned for. It seems like every premium channel nowadays has a kingpin or white-collar criminal as a protagonist: Power, Billions, BMF... Maybe the desired message is that corporate greed and exorbitant wealth are cool.

When he casually just brought up the Dutroux affair, I knew this would be good. Looks like only the first 30 seconds is shareable. Total mind-blowing show. Amazing. "Captain Newfoundland" hahaha

Great point and counterpoint about benefitting from the dollar-reserve currency. It seems like the Fed Reserve centralized all the distributed and decentralized technological development. A lot of these industrial projects were being pioneered through state universities. The A&M or Tech that so many colleges have in their name is Agricultural & Mechanical or Polytechnical. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Land-grant_university
