This year has been a very different one for me. Work has been a priority as I have changed jobs, but I also given myself a project that matters to me a lot to work on throughout this year.
This project has been about sharing stories and focusing on people of colour of all different parts of world. I realised as a coloured creative my self I should be showcasing this stories, as I know from personal experience what it's like to have your voice quietered down by colonialist mindsets.
And that's how I met Camila! These two images are from our last shoot together, infact the last day she spent in Australia. There were some tears, but also some really joyful and heartfelt stories shared. There were plenty of moments we I just had to put the camera down and enjoy being in that space with this lovely soul.
Before the end of the year I'm looking forward to sharing some of these stories with everyone in the book that I am slowly working towards. Agian thank you all for being part of this.
