Connection to home, with Camila 2024

As a black creative living in Australia,
I want to share stories about the nuances of cultural identity living in a mostly white lead country. I'll be sharing these ideas in the form of a zine with the words , poems, stories from the people I capture for this project.
But for now here are three photos from my time with Camila. A Chilean, national who has called Australia home for the past few years. It was so nice to spend this afternoon with her, hearing her speak from the heart about her experiences, identity and her point of view as a person of colour living in Australia.
