Everyone has different style, for me, I like to keep shooting until I get the shot that I want and then some more extra just in case I need them. And often times, I only choose one photo from each of my photoshoot at convention. The reason is that because we just can't spend that much time shooting at convention and we also do not have the flexibility with location + environment.
Now about picking the right shot. As you can see in this photo, I have many photos of one pose. So usually I don't have that many to choose from. I narrow my option to about 3 photos from each shoot, and then pick out the one that I like the most.

Quality over quantity. The editorial process distilled
2016-08-29 16:05:12 +0000 UTCNothing. I keep them, but I don't do anything with them because I have already picked a photo to process and spent hours on it. I make exception is when another photo is just as good.
