WOW they are being sooo creative with the visuals (especially in the opening and ending). I can't wait to see more and do a little bit more in depth analysis if/when possible. I feel like there's a lot of expressionistic influence.
"Expressionism is an art movement prioritizing subjective emotion over objective reality, using distorted forms, exaggerated colors, and dramatic brushwork to convey inner feelings, anxieties, and spiritual experiences, rather than depicting the physical world realistically." - I can see why this choice is especially fitting for Jujutsu Kaisen as a series!!
Even the ending song visual with "Blue Itadori" reminds me of Picasso's "Blue Period".
"Picasso's Blue Period (1901-1904) is widely considered a form of Expressionism because it uses distorted forms, somber colors (especially blue), and emotional themes to convey profound feelings of misery, poverty, and alienation, aligning with Expressionist goals of expressing inner emotional states over objective reality."
--> this also is sooo fitting for Itadori's character at this time. Kudos to the art director!

Season 3 episode 2 left off in chapter 144 I do recommend reading the manga up to that point as there is small details missing

Now I’m not saying this is the same, but i did explicitly and very nicely ask manga readers in the intro “please do not post hints or any opinions that is influenced by future knowledge” so I am really trying to discourage comments in this line that you are making (“it will be explained later”). So please 🙏🏼 be considerate like I asked and rather err on the side of caution. Otherwise I will prefer to keep the comments off for future posts.

Also dont worry about the overload of information/the rules of the game - it will all be explained again later
