7. This is my interpretation of the story, but please correct me if I missed something. Essentially, the reason why the white haired girls are being killed is because they are trying to prevent the revival of a harvest goddess that was pissed off a long time ago. What I am most confused about is why the goddess allowed herself to be reincarnated in the beginning even though the people killed her each time to grow crops. It’s as if she just forgot what happened.

2025-10-25 08:39:11 +0000 UTC6. Now the story of the parasites seem to occur much later in the timeline. It appears that the reincarnation of the goddess has devolved into some parasite. It causes them to act without knowing what they are doing. These reincarnations no longer attempt to recreate themselves as a white haired girl. Instead, whoever is infected by the reincarnation now just cannibalizes anything living. We see the infected man eat a horse and its intestines and a person in some cabin. Not only that, it is only zombie-like as the man was walking around as a decaying body. The villagers at the time discovered the man and hunts him down. In the latest story, it appears the reincarnation can now infect rabbits.
