A mansion by any standard, crawling with looping paths & spare rooms. Host a heist, feast, duel, or murder!
This map is an upgrade of a much older map of mine, one of the first I ever drew, and it’s based on the floor plan for the titular family’s home in Ranma 1/2 … modified for pre-modern concerns, of course. I also had to fix several archtectural flaws with the original plans.
Thoughts
Rooftops make excellent pathways to avoid line-of-sight.
The included blueprints make for good player handouts or rewards for being forward with information-gathering.
I think my favorite of the variants is actually the abandoned, ruined version, though it’s a close call between that and the Pokemon arena … although that set’s pretty specialized, I’ll admit.
If you’d like to make it a larger dungeon, try hiding textual mentions of a secret entrance in a couple places. Have a guard blab about it in earshot, or have it written in a journal.
Contents

Tendo Dojo: A Japanese mansion fit for feasts, duels, heists, and assassinations.
Slaughter: The aforementioned assassination!
Blueprints: For your handouts, full maps of the mansion!
Abandoned: An overgrown palace hidden in the undergrowth. What fiend has taken over this place? (Could an illusion present it as being an intact home before the truth is revealed?)
Faewild: A wrecked house in an alien realm.
Nightmare: Having bad dreams? Stepped into a monster’s trap? Pissed off the clingy spirit? The swirling tendrils of fog might prevent your escape.
Pokemon Arena: By special request. Is it a private yard or a gym? Also usable for other fights requiring a lot of space, of course.
Spring: Cherry blossoms & sakura trees at the manor.
Autumn: Winter is coming!
Winter: Whoops, it’s already here.
Canopy Overlays: Built for VTT canopy usage!
Day/Night Variants: Wherever applicable!
All maps are provided with & without square grids in WEBP format. (Please note that while WEBP is compatible with all major VTTs, it may not be previewable in old Windows 10 photo viewers.)
In addition, a Foundry module with a compendium of pre-built scenes for major variants is provided!
Furthermore, full-color PDF files in both single-page and divided poster formats are provided for printing!
The divided poster PDFs are cut into US Letter-size pages; they have guidelines, sheet numbering, & a convenient sheet for sticking them together after you’ve printed them out, and have margins so that you don’t have to be pixel-perfect when cutting with your scissors.
The single-sheet PDFs are suitable for making high-quality prints via print shops & on large-scale printers.

A Throwback
I'd be shocked if anyone here had seen the original. I think it's quite an upgrade, but that's what 4 years of improvement gets you, huh? I was hand-drawing the grids back then, and I forgot to do the interior of the dojo. Oops.
