I think it's a shame that most people these days only want reactors to watch the original Karate Kid movies to get to the streaming series "Cobra Kai." The tone of this property across the two mediums (movies vs. streaming) are actually pretty different. I obviously don't want to get into spoilers, but the movies themselves are very earnest and human.
