No need to worry about the end of TNG just yet, the journey is just getting started. And yes, watching the top episodes is going to be great of course, but also watching the 'normal' episodes is even better. They are often still very good and you're hanging with your crew. Kinda like going on a amazing vacation with your family will create great memories, but the real worth is being at home with them sharing the ups and downs of your lives.

This episode is a delight.
Rewatching these earlier episodes made me realize that the first two seasons (yes, even much of season 1) are better than people give them credit for. Similarly, Dr. Pulaski was pretty underrated.
Also, I'm getting so I really miss the episodic format of classic TV shows. Yes, there wasn't a big massive story arc like modern streaming shows. But they had a chance to explore way more varied storylines. And by having totally separate stories from week-to-week, it made the show feel "bigger" in a weird way. Like, you can just imagine this bustling world in which a lot of adventures are constantly happening behind the scenes that we don't get to see. That goes away in modern TV when you just get a single story for the whole season (or even the whole series).
