Upcoming this Week!

This Poll was neck and neck, so I ended it early. I needed to know what I was watching and ensure no trickery was afoot! LMAO

Thanks so much for hanging out on the LIVE with me yesterday! I needed my coffee break!

TNG Tuesday β€” S1xE25 Conspiracy

Thursday β€” Poll Winner The 'Burbs (1989): I have no idea what this movie is about, but I'm excited!

AFI Friday β€” #60 Duck Soup (1933) will be my second Marx Bro's film! YAY!

This seems like a light-hearted week, which will be a lot of fun! Can't wait to share these with you all!!!

Have a fantastic week! You being here means the world 🌎😽

In the days before the internet, the Fredonia question was a right of passage in Congress. New Congresspeople were sent a policy question about Fredonia, usually implying that Fredonia was at risk if being taken over by the Soviets. The number of boiler plate answers was depressing. "we must stand with Fredonia blah blah blah..."

Wow. The 'Burbs is one of my favorite movies of all time. I don't know what kind of impression it will make on a new viewer today, especially if the bar is set too high. But for me, back in the day, it embodied "summer." I remember it would play on cable, and... well, it just made me feel happy. Anyway, The Burbs was directed by Joe Dante, who was one of those guys, which included Robert Zemeckis, that Spielberg supported in the 1980s. You'd often see "Steven Spielberg Presents" in front of these guys' movies. Dante also did the two Gremlins movies, and also ANOTHER one of my favorite movies of all time, "Innerspace," which I hope you get to someday.
