One of my favorite westerns. I liked your comments. The interaction between Dan (Christian Bale) and Ben (Russell Crowe) is mesmerizing. An incredible (charismatic) performance by Russell Crowe. Christian Bale transforms himself into whatever character he plays. Ben Foster is great (evil incarnate) -- agree he good in Hell and High Water. I couldn't tell if you recognized Peter Fonda (Byron -- the older Pinkerton guy) who was also Wyatt in Easy Rider (1969) the movie he most known for. We drove (awesome scenery) from Phoenix across Arizona to the Grand Canyon. I like the western genre. A western I suggest is The Outlaw Josey Wales (1976) (Clint Eastwood stars/directs).
