Train to Busan (2016)

I finally watched your reaction. This was a first watch of the movie for me. Dang good movie. I need to watch more Korean stuff. Thanks for the reaction. Soo-an was played by a good kid actor. I like the father's arc. Too bad he became infected in the end. The actor playing the father was good having subtle but communicative facial expressions (sometimes not so subtle).

Haha, yeah!! But who'd be around to file (or pay out) the claim after the apocalypse! (I wouldn't be surprised to see in super-small print: "Dismemberment by the undead renders aforementioned clauses null and void." Damn insurer loopholes! 🤣)

It's always fun too see people's reactions to this movie. This movie really suprises people with it's emotional punch. Ma Dong-seok really plays a hero in this movie. Kim Su-an is so talented. I've been watching a lot of Korean shows the past few years and there a lot of amazing dramas from Korea out there. When Kim Eui-sung shows up as a villain you know he is going to do such an amaing job that you absolutely love to hate his character. Glad you finally saw this Ames.

Oh my goodness, Ames!! This was a first-time watch for me. I went into it completely blind. I was picturing a period drama, an action adventure, or a murder mystery... perhaps a whodunit like Murder on the Orient Express. 😂😂😂 What an ABSOLUTE SHOCK!!! When you started talking about zombies in the intro, I chuckled to myself, thinking "there's no way"!! Well, I guess the joke's on me!! 😲😲😲 That being said, wow... a zombie flick with heart!! Despite all the craziness and non-stop tension and danger, it was very touching to see strangers working together to try to save one another. My personal favorite was the husband of the pregnant woman. What a hero!! The (fund manager) dad started out pretty worthless as a father, but had a great character arc and ultimately redeemed himself in the end! I'm not normally a zombie flick kind of guy, but this was a good one and I loved your reaction! What a ride!! I guess the lesson to be learned from watching this film is: Whenever you're taking a trip, buy the cheap travel life insurance policy (with the optional death and dismemberment rider), before you go. It could pay off big!! 😂😂😂
