Yeah, Lost in Translation is more about two humans connecting than it is a strict romance. Yet, the Google page for the movie gives the genre as "Romance/Comedy". Wikipedia calls it a "romantic comedy-drama film."

I guess you can make a case for Coming to America, but Lost in Translation??? It's literally about a platonic relationship! I have no idea how that qualifies.
