Classic's Pre 80's Poll
Added 2024-08-29 18:23:26 +0000 UTCNote: These kill me and take forever to do. I am sorry if you pick isn't on here. At 25 I have to get cut throat LOL but this list is FIRE...I'll be doing AFI Friday's so I left some out of the poll that will be coming up in the next couple weeks! So really, everyone wins LMAO
***approval style voting - meaning vote for all your top picks! Your first might not win but your other picks could!

Right, what a dogfight! But this is the last of the "big 4" Hitch titles, so future polls should be wide open It's awesome that Ames got to see Arsenic & Old Lace as an intro to Grant. This is a great follow-up!

2024-08-30 17:12:26 +0000 UTCI threw a vote in for Black Narcissus because of the passion for the film that a few of you seem to have. I’ve never seen it, and at first I thought you were all referring to Black Orpheus, which is a great film.

2024-08-29 22:41:11 +0000 UTCAmes, you did a great job of narrowing down a mind-bogglingly long list to 25 choices! (No stress, right?? 😅) Many good options here (although my Audrey Hepburn picks are not looking very likely at the moment). Since most of my selections and nominations are on the AFI List, I know you'll watch those eventually. 😊 Looking forward to seeing which two films on the poll are going to tie! (Oh no!!) 😂

2024-08-29 22:27:12 +0000 UTCGood job Ames. I voted for 9. My top two are In the Heat of the Night and Roman Holiday, but will be happy with others winning. I have not seen North by Northwest but is on my watchlist.
