2024-08-01 03:56:05 +0000 UTCSurprised no one's mentioned (though maybe I've missed it, in which case I apologize) what make this otherwise campy, bizarro fun ride actually sneaky clever, too: Jack acts just like John Wayne (in voice, mannerisms and attitude) and assumes he's the hero, when he's actually the sidekick and never realizes otherwise. Cool, subversive inside joke on delusional, oblivious white dudes in movies.
