Daughters Flying Infantry - Everything You Get in November & Multi-Shell Breakdown!

The end of the month is a mere day away! The Order of the Burning Rose leaves it to the last possible moment to descend from the heavens like a thunderbolt, and get their full breakdown! Here's everything you'll be getting in November;

Daughters of the Burning Rose - Flying Infantry

In the images below, you can see that we've highlighted certain elements in bright orange, blue, green, etc (and you'll see similar images in many of our previous releases too!), and various images say "multi-shell" on them.

These colours mean that each highlighted element is actually a separate "shell" - a complete 3D object that it is possible to move, scale, interchange, or even remove entirely! Want to know how? We've got a few excellent text and video resources for you to check out;

Heads and helmets are up first, and these are a set of stunning facemasks, hoods, and the Daughter's Gothic Sci-Fi helmet, based on the historic Armet helm. The star of the show here has to be the ornate death masks, however. Donned by daughters of the Order that have pledged their life to the cause, that they might meet death with no reservations or hesitation. All of the masks and their extra ornamentation are shelled, as well as the hoods and open-faced helms.

To go along with the sci-fi helm, we've got the Daughter's gothic sci-fi torso; heavily reinforced with banded edges, and piping that suggests an integral oxygen supply for high-altitude drops that give the foe no warning of their imminent arrival. The pauldrons either feature the same heavy reinforcement, or a falcon-styled ornamentation.

As with the previous DBR releases, we have both the Legs, and combination legs/torso available, which allows for complete modularity, and more dynamic poses. The optional shelled tassets (hip plates) have the same heavy banding style, and the kneeguards have flared out into a beautiful pair or mirrored wings. Each pair of legs can be mounted on any of five different bits of rubble, which will influence the angle of each pose subtly, for even more variety!

The Daughter's jetpack is a marvellous baroque engine, that combines with either a set of artificial feathered wings, or directional thruster pods. Both allow the Daughter who wears them to take to the skies with seemingly no effort at all.

The set of arms focuses on melee and pistol options this month, featuring the same multi-shelled cloth elements as the previous Elites month, but vastly expanded upon to give you a huge variety of new melee/pistol poses. Additionally, the Daughter's have brought modular shields into the fray, with five brand new shield-arms. You'll also find a Digital-Kitbash forearm in the pack, to help you turn any arm into a shield bearing one!

A huge arsenal of weapons, pistols and shields accompany the Daughter's to war. Hammers, axes, spears and swords, as well as three new pistols allow you to hack, crush, stab, slash, burn, blast, or disintegrate your foes at close range.

All of the hands are shelled to allow for swapping, repositioning, or to print the weapon as a standalone object! Three shield options, two grenades, and holstered versions of the flamethrower, fusion, or heavy pistols round out the accessories, as well as a rose-bound relic blade. While it can not be drawn, it fills all those that see it borne into battle, with a terrible fervour to live up to its mythic history.

At Anvil, we have a soft spot for blacksmiths, and if there's a chance for us to include one in a range, you better believe we'll do it! A Burning Rose blacksmith helps to forge all the Order's weapons and armour, and can take to the battlefield herself to wield her forging hammer, or spiked flail. We've kept one arm as a separate shell to allow for different weapon swaps, as well as the face and hair.

The Lightning Mage is one of the most dangerous warrior-weapons the Order can deploy. Bound to a fulminetic harness, and wielding aetheric power, a lightning mage channels the devastation of the storm into bolts of crackling current. Held aloft in an electrostatic nimbus, it is said that the most powerful mages can become so infused with their power, that they can ride a bolt of lightning into the sky, and plunge back down into the ranks of their foe, and proceed to release a coruscating onslaught from impossible to predict flanks.

The Lightning mages feature many chains and locks that are optional shells, as well as their fulminetic harness, which can be used to give a massive halo to any regular troop's torso, with a little digital kitbashing!

And last but by no means least, The Archangel - the final and highest possible rank in the Order of the Burning Rose. On the battlefield the archangel is righteous fury made manifest. Borne on four enormous feathered wings, and wielding either a flaming holy avenger's sword, or heart piercing spear. The Archangel's head and hands are optional shells, giving you the option to kitbash in your own alternate head, or weapon options!
