Whew! Sorry about this being slightly later than usual, folks. I was actually done with the writing on time, but came down with a nasty stomach bug of some sort out of the blue yesterday. It was a most unpleasant day as a result, with me only getting editing done in vague fits and starts.
Anyway, it's done now, and I'm fairly pleased with the results. Be warned that as of this set of chapters we're entering into a series of time skips that will accelerate the story forward toward the Clone Wars more quickly. We were reaching a saturation point where too much of the story was going to becoming a samey slog if I kept dragging readers through every battle. Which would be extra bad, given that space and ground battles will obviously become a major theme again in the Clone Wars section. As such, the obvious solution is to begin hopping and skipping forward a bit. Not one massive timeskip, but a number of smaller ones that will let me build up to the Clone Wars while getting away from large-scale battle description for the most part until then.
On the up side, despite this set of chapters being a bit of a transition into that set of timeskips, they also have a lemon in them. So there's that for all you enjoyers of such experiences to look forward to ;-). Lemons will actually likely pop up more frequently through the time skip period, as it's a good time to have the girls rotate who is around, and explore the more complex relationship dynamics a bit.
Anyway! As always, the new bits are attached to this post in various formats. Likewise, I'll be updating the Master Files in the Pinned Post shortly. There will also be a few Authors Notes in the comments, once I have time to write them up! I hope you enjoy more of 'Can One Displaced Hero Save the Galaxy?'!
P.S. The images for this post are literally just a handful I already had in a folder. Most of them are either AI or have already been linked in the past.

So, with the stations Data, they manage to find the planet of Zakuul, and with it the Gravestone. Mei Reverse Engineer's it, as a bit of a break from the Gateway's. And they make a Super-Dreadnaught from it. And of course what do they call the Symbol that brings down tyranny and brings freedom and Hope? The "All Might". I cant help but love the idea, even if I know its unrealistic, Fleet killers are just too OP.

Which means I'd only be showing them because people expect to see them, not because they are actually doing anything important...

2025-09-25 09:39:32 +0000 UTCI'm glad it comes across how I intended then :-). Covering the politics is important on world or galaxy scales, but both writing and reading it is boooorrrrriiinnngggg. So I'm happy the lateral way I go at it works ;-). Eh, if you look at a rough map of the Clone Wars territories (https://i.sstatic.net/VpuT5.jpg) only certain sections of the CIS holdings are going to lean that way. The biggest problem for Sidious, one that he hasn't realized yet, is that Kamino is basically within League Space. At least more than it is anyone else's. Too many spoilers if I commented on the Jedi/Atarian Rangers/Republic thing :-p. Oh, he's going to be VERY annoyed. Particularly as he's likely to find out about Zavra at roughly the same time ;-).

Sidious is going to discover in the long run that it's harder to get people into HIGH LEVEL positions than he thinks. That said, it's always essentially impossible to keep spies out of your rank and file on a scale as big as a galaxy.

One thing I am curious of is if isuku or any of the others who have been read in on the sith are putting in the needed prevention measures to counter sidiousis interpol agents. After all they know the sith have had so long to hide and dig there claws in that they should suspect spys and agents to be coming frome even soposed allies.

Wonder if Palpatine will end up caught off guard because a lot of systems he expected to go with the seperatists or stay neutral decide to join the League instead. Glad to see Shaak joining in. Just Padme and Sabe left now. But seems that will still take a while until it wouldn't be such a political scandal. Jedi with the Katana fleet and a much stronger Atarian rangers. Really really hope that leads to them just telling the senate no on leading the clones. That would utterly fuck up Palpatines plans in such a brilliant and realistic way (especially as they are now learning that most Jedi aren't suited to leading armies a lot earlier). Also curious to see Palpatine finally finding out Izuku is force sensitive. If not anywhere near the full extent. No way he doesn't find out after those assassination attempts.

I, however, didn't really want to give it to Izuku and the League because it's...frankly a little overplayed in fanfiction. Instead, I decided a while ago, that I'd use it for a more unexpected purpose. Which some of you are undoubtedly now connecting a few dots about... A/N 2: Likewise with the Atarian Rangers ;-). A/N 3: Palpatine is actually somewhat calm about events right now...but that's mostly because he's horribly underestimating how much of a problem the League is going to be eventually. For all his political genius, the one thing Palpatine manifestly is NOT is a brilliant military strategist. A/N 4: Hope you liked the small snapshot of Ossus Academy, we'll see more of it later throughout the small timeskip hops :-). A/N 5: Poor Mace, good thing you're already bald, or you'd be pulling your hair out...
