October Story Poll!

Alright! With the latest release of Why Was There No Truck?! now having been out for a couple of days, it's time to get on with next month's poll! Why Was There No Truck?! has, of course, lost it's boost as a result of winning.

On the subject of boosts, though, I've decided to cut back the increases in boost per month to only 10%, with initial boosts after two months of no updates only being 20%. These were actually the originally numbers that the boost system was working with, and I only upped things because Halfway Broken was dominating horribly even with the slowly escalating boosts. Since the stories all seem to have more even levels of support now, I'm going to scale back to those original boost numbers and see how things go.

This means that My Hero Automata and Eridium Dreams only got an additional +10% this month, and Pandora's Box is only getting a +20% boost. I think this will help prevent the current tendency for only stories with boosts being able to win from being as true. The boosts are supposed to help less popular stories get occasional updates, not constantly determine the winner by overturning the popular vote! Anyway, onto this month's options!

Mass Effect: Eridium Dreams (Current Boost +60%)

After some time swimming through the headache of learning to 'speak' Rachni, a new target is revealed as Saren reveals a major Geth presence in the Terminus. Where other people might be confused about the fact those Geth are playing archeologist in a clumsy fashion, they has some idea what the Geth are looking for. The team needs to decide who will go try to slow down that effort...and who will, instead, attempt to use the partially working Eden Prime beacon as its own lead. Does anyone the number of the Prothean Empire's IT department?

My Hero Automata (+40% Vote Boost!)

Forge 1 is now Operational, with Izumi, Momo and 2B have begun producing Nier Androids. With an elite unit of combat androids forming up to help, along with the push of far more new Shieldmaidens onto the African Front, will the good guys and gals start the turn of the tide against the invaders? Meanwhile, 'the Enemy get's a say too' remains a truism of warfare, and Izumi and Momo find themselves pulled off of working on Refinery 1 as a desperate call for help comes from a very unexpected source.

Harry Potter: Pandora's Box (+20% Vote Boost!)

With Harry's second year of Hogwarts starting, Harry's options for projects have really opened up with his new access to runes! Of course, there's also a threat coming to Hogwarts he's been warned of due to a crazy House Elf, and hormones are increasingly distracting as several of the girls in his immediate sphere got hit with their own puberty stick! Harry has to balance his goals, being a teenager with attractive female friends, and an unknown danger that might be coming for him specifically...

A Very Confused Pokémon Adventure

2B and Zoey have arrived in Pewter and are gearing up for their first Gym Challenge of the season! This update will feature 2B's debut Gym Battle, and the reactions of the poor world finally exposed to her particular brand of unintentional chaos ;-). Meanwhile, Zoey's Horny Energy has risen enough to finally consider doing something about it after their battles. There might even be super lewd handholding involved!

Why Was There No Truck?!

Alyssa, Nocturne and Black Canary had formed a nascent Hero Team for Gotham called Overwatch, and made their first debut as such by hammering the largest criminal group in the city hard! Obviously, that's going to provoke all sorts of reactions from all sorts of people! We'll get some of those reactions, as well as see how the trio start gelling together as a team more completely in this next update...
