Added 2025-08-23 03:40:46 +0000 UTCWhew! Wasn't entirely sure I was going to get this posted tonight. The editing pass seemed to want to drag on much longer than usual! Thankfully, I made it through, though I'll probably hold off on the public chapters until tomorrow.
Anyway, this set of chapters got pretty close to hitting 16,000 words, and I'm fairly pleased with it. There aren't any huge revelations or anything, but I think it does a solid job of getting back into covering the Crusade. As well as showing a few peeks and hints from other perspectives. A few of of which we've seen before, a couple of which we haven't, including a short bit shown from Zavra's mindset which I think does a decent job of continuing to build her up. As does the reaction of others to her.
The art is an AI generation, by the by, though not one of mine. I found it while looking for a good general look for the Gungan designed Ray-class corvette. No idea who the original creator is.
As always, the new bits are attached to this post in various formats. Likewise, I'll be updating the Master Files in the Pinned Post shortly (after I make typo corrections curtesy of The Foreign Traveler's help!). There will also be a few Author's Notes in the comments, once I have time to write them up! Enjoy more of Displaced Hero!

Yeah, poor Padmé is stuck in a universe where the best of ideals doesn't really...hold up well. Not if she's forced outside the bubble of a affluent and peaceful world. Like someone from Sweden being force to try and confront/tackle the problems in Warlord-Controlled parts of Africa. She DID volunteer herself to try and fix those sorts of problems by becoming part of the senate and taking her job seriously though. As always, thanks for the typo fixes! I'll get them into the Master File for the next update!

Boarder refers to someone who is boarding a ship, plane or other vehicle also naval personnel who are in the process of seizing a ship. Border is for the boundaries of nations. You can probably find all of them by just word searching boarder.
