Pokemon Adventure Poll!

Alright folks! As mentioned in the Poll Results post, this is a follow-up poll for A Very Confused Pokemon Adventure that will only run through midnight on the 1st. Before anything else, a quick reminder of where we left off with the story last time, in order to highlight the reason for the poll:

2B and Zoey had their first true misadventure when a group of Onix, disturbed by a new mining project, disrupted the ecosystem of Viridian Forest. After saving two trainers from a group of rampaging Pinsir, Zoey and 2B found themselves rushing to Diglett's Cave to help protect the trainers that had been gathered there due to the disturbance. On arrival, they found a battle already underway, and pitched in to defend the other trainers from the Onix while an Ace Trainer and Ranger battled the Steelix leading the Onix migration and the Dugtrio Alpha it came the challenge for territory. Now that the battle has concluded, but with Viridian Forest still disrupted, Zoey and 2B have a choice to make...

Option 1) Risk the still disrupted forest! Having proven themselves capable and with the largest disruption already taken care of, 2B and Zoey are allowed to head to Pewter, on the condition they head straight there! Of course, nothing ever goes quite as planned in the Pokémon world, and they come across a certain bug Pokémon in distress. (Leads to 2B gaining a new Pokémon. Technically not one usually found in Viridian in the games, but which 100% fits the environment).

Option 2) Stay at the Diglett's Cave Camp until the Forest settles down. The Rangers are out in Force and want everyone to stay at the entrance to Diglett's Cave until things settle! While slowing their travel to Pewter, the numerous bored trainers waiting for approval to travel offer a chance to gather more battle experience! Not to mention a chance to continue training up their newer captures. Oh those poor, innocent trainers, what horrors will they suffer at the hands of 2B's very odd team...

Option 3) Detour! What's a trainer's journey when everything goes to plan? 2B may have wanted to travel the traditional gym route, but her reason to do so wasn't very strong. Given the chaos in Viridian, and the fact it's Gym might well be busy for quite some time helping calm down the Onix, making use of Diglett's Tunnel to leave Viridian Forest behind for now can be seen as just logical! With a Detour putting them near Vermillion City instead of Pewter, it only make sense to challenge Lt. Surge and check out the local Pokémon options! What trauma will Machine Gun Jigglypuff cause for the bombastic war veteran? Will 2B get into a eating contest with a Snorlax? Since Vermillion is a Port City, what exotic Pokémon might be available for trade?! Oh, wait, Vermillion has a Contest Hall now? 2B did promise Daisy she'd at least give that a try, and Zoey's sparkly eyes when she sees her Contest Outfit options are hard to say 'no' to...

As you can see, this is a major possible divergence point for the fic :-)! As such, I thought I'd let everyone engage with what they'd really most like to see.

Option 1 would lead to a fairly Ash-like Pokémon recruiting, with them helping a local Pokémon in distress (I'll put the Pokémon in question in the comments to minimize the spoiler chances for those that want a surprise). Option 2 would give us another chance to see 2B's interaction with people, as well as how normal people react to her unorthodox battling and moves. Option 3 has the widest variety, but would be the fastest route to seeing 2B participate in Contests. So if that's something you really want to see, it might be worth voting for that!

I'm happy to write any of the options, so I want Patron feedback on what you the readers most desire to see 2B getting up to! Get your votes in quick, since I can't let this poll run overly long if I want to get the writing done on schedule ;-)!
