February Story Poll!

Alright, guys, gals, and others! Now that the previous winner is out, it's time for next month's poll. A special note here...remember that there is a bit of an ongoing minigame with the last Automata update, that can get you a few extra votes! I offered extra votes to the first person to correctly guess each of the parodies or near copies of both heroes and villains from other series, in the chapter 107 montage. So far, only two people have made guesses (both right!). I assure you there are still more references in that chapter that no one has spotted as of this posting ;-).

Aside from that, there are the usual boost updates. Harry Potter: Pandora's Box will be getting +90% to its votes this time, and Mass Effect: Eridium Dreams is all the way up to a 130% boost! A Very Confused Pokémon Adventure doesn't have a boost at the moment, but it will as of the March poll next month. At least assuming it doesn't win this poll. Keep the boosts in mind as you make your votes!

One Piece : Halfway Broken

Confusion for everyone as the canon's shredded remains is torn farther asunder with every moment and movement. The Marines are left trying to figure out what to do with the capture they wanted, yet two more missing Warlords in the process. Only one of which they have a confirmed status on. News from unexpected sources only adds to their worries, even as they realize it might be far too late to alter course.

Meanwhile, the Straw Hat crew has new elements aboard to deal with, potential complications on the horizon, and a whole lot of recently gained materials and abilities that they really need to get a handle on! All while their Captain is uncertain about their plans going forward, trying to get a feel for how the World Government is going to react to this wildly different set of circumstances. At least the log pose hasn't locked them directly onto the Sabaody Archipelago! The Straw Hat crew find themselves on the Asuka Island, with a story that draws both Luffy and Kaya's interest.

*Note:  One Piece: The Cursed Holy Sword is technically a non-canon movie of indeterminate place in the timeline. However, I always intended to include the island and some points from the movie (I even hinted as its presence in-universe clear back in the East Blue), and this seemed like a good place to do so. It will allow the Straw Hats to deal with some much-needed crew interactions and test their upgrades. All while things build up to the big upcoming crisis point of the Sumit War...or the alternate version of it that I've been crafting, at least ;-).

Harry Potter: Pandora's Box (Current Boost +90% to votes)

Last time, Harry started a new project...but there was also a field invasion of the Quidditch match by a swarm of giant bees. The school came together to beat back the attack, but where did it come from? What was its intent? And how will everyone react to this new escalation?

Mass Effect: Eridium Dreams(Current Boost +130% to votes)

The Council has little choice but to believe that something is wrong when one of their best agents gives them a detailed report, right alongside dumping Geth refugees on them. Something which is a nightmare all on its own with the current state of Citadel law. While the politicians deal with that headache, newly minted Spectre Sae Shepard is on the hunt, with her first few missions being to work with Spectre Saren! They have a not-so-well-regarded Prothean researcher to find...

A Very Confused Pokémon Adventure

2B has both a new Pokémon and a new traveling companion! She and Zoey finally make it to Viridian, with Daisy getting introduced via video phone and realizing she probably should have reviewed 2B's travel plans after all. Even if everything seems to have worked out. The pair spend a few days in Viridian, using the Battle Courts available here to get their Pokémon some experience. For the first time, some very unfortunate souls are introduced to 2B's disregard for normality, and stocks in migraine medication become a good investment as people react. Afterward Zoey pushes quickly to head into Viridian Forest, realizing that they've attracted way more attention than she was expecting, and wanting to use the less traveled paths of the Forest to dodge that attention a bit.
