I’ve been taking baby steps to gain my independence as a blind traveler— today I walked to a bakery and bought pastries and then to a beauty store and back, all in a neighborhood I’ve never been to before. This was a huge accomplishment for me so I thought I’d share :) New Orleans is gorgeous in every way. I’m so happy I did this!
