This movie was for sure artistic and interesting, although not my fave movie ever I am happy to have finally seen it!!

Dracula aficionados like this movie because apparently it is a faithful adaptation of the book. The book was written in 1867 and the most famous origin story for Dracula. Dracula transformed into a wolf-like creature (not a werewolf). In the book, Dracula can transform into different animals. The nudity in the film is said to serve a purpose. In Victorian era England, biting a victim was understood as a penetrative, pseudo-sexual act? "For modern audiences, some other means of conveying this idea was necessary. Coppola [awesome director] went with more explicit sexuality and nudity for the simple reason that those unfamiliar with the original novel and the mores of the day would have no idea of the significance (sexually speaking) of the vampire's bite."
