We're throwing it back to 2017 when Jin and Jimin were featured on a show called Hello Counselor! This show is just like the title suggests, special guests share personal stories, and the hosts, including Jin and Jimin, offer advice to help with their concerns.
We got to see Jimin and Jin’s genuinely understanding and caring side shine on this show, they gave some really good advice. 💖

2024-11-08 16:52:11 +0000 UTCI’ve been waiting for you to watch this for a while now (bc besides clips here and there I haven’t sat down and watched it myself). It was definitely more serious than what we usually watch but that doesn’t make it any less intriguing. Genuinely like you said in the reaction, these families really should seek professional guidance bc trauma is a big thing. I never know how to feel when issues like these are used for entertainment purposes but if the guests willingly contacted them then I guess that’s okay. Their stories, their lives, their choice. Jin and jimin were great counselors. They have so much empathy for others and their emotional intelligence is so high. Jins advice was said in such a gentle and approachable manner. His tone and word choices just makes you feel validated and that’s so important when opening up. He knows exactly when to use his humor to lighten up the atmosphere and when he needs to get serious, he will consolidate you. Jimin was teensy bit more direct in his advice (in a good way). His voice is so calm and soft, you feel like he just wants the best for you. When he gave the advice to the eighth grader he meant every word and you could see in his body language… his eyes were glaring so hard as soon as he chose the plushies over his sister. Rightfully so. I love the way they both approached the situations. My beloved jinmin <3

You can see how upset and mad Jimin was, especially after the boy said his plushies are more important than his sister and hearing how he mistreats his mother(Jimin’s a family oriented man🥺). Like I don’t think I’ve ever seen him that mad(It must've hurt him badly knowing that he can't see his own little brother all the time). But I love how Jimin barely spoke but he paid attention to the stories, felt them, and expressed his feelings and thoughts respectfully, gave amazing advice.

He’s very intelligent(especially emotionally intelligent), very good with words, a great listener, wise, and understanding & empathic to everyone's feelings therefore everyone feel so comfortable showing their vulnerable sides to him. He always know’s the right things to say to help someone through a situation…gives so much comfort & assurance with words. His words are realistic & exactly what you need to hear. He makes you feel valued. He always knows what to say and how to say it in a way that can connect to everyone. I remember from one of his lives where he was giving amazing advice and trying to comfort everyone that were commenting that they were having a hard time. He said “I saw some people said they were having a hard time. I want to help you one by one. I want to listen to all of your stories one by one but I can't do that, can I? I might not be able to do anything for you. But despite that fact, I want to be able to give you kind of a positive effect. You know. Happy virus. I want to be a happy virus to you all. So don't think of too many negative thoughts. If you start thinking of negative thoughts, it's hard to stop. I've been there before. If you think too many negative thoughts, it's never ending and you end up in a deep tunnel. So try to think of positive thoughts. And me being on V LIVE once in a while like this might not have a positive effect for every single person but I hope it helps you some way. Always be happy and don’t get sick…” Jimin and his words always bring me so much comfort and brings me out of my darkest places. He’s my free therapy🥹💜
