We are continuing 'BEGINS = YOUTH’ with episode 9, 'Asteroid 2019 OK.' 👌

In the last episode, Jeha’s brother Mingkook set up a scenario where Cein would attack him and record the whole thing to get Cein suspended from school. He wanted Cein to suffer so Jeha could suffer… 💔

We were left with a very shocking scene of Cein holding a bloody brick, blood all over Ming kook's face, but Jeha was the one on the floor with blood all over him…

We thought Cein was the one who struck Jeha since he was holding the brick, but we cannot see Cein ever doing that to Jeha!! 😭

i'm aware of their roles but didn't really put two and two together when i first became aware of that and just realized and connected it while watching this video 🤣 yes, they are both great actors!

I watched The World of the Married and I hated the son lol the actor that plays both Jeha and the son of the main lead really does a great job because ohh he made my blood boil then, and now he's so soft relatable, and tragic. Also, I did not even realize the actor who played the woman who had the affair was Sohee, she is also a great actor.

I am so trustfrated!!!! What I need is for all the evil, stupid, demonic, adult babies to leave these kids alone! I want the guys to come together, talk about things and realize they are stronger together than apart! I need the dam cat and its minions to be put in a fire cage that the can never escape from! Mingook, stay the heck away from Jeha. And the Cheshire scummy principal to be burned at the stake. 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 If I were Jeha I’d be taking anything I could find and use Minyuck for target practice That gardener is a wolf pretending to be a sheep. Da fu…. There was way too much going on to figure out which was worse. I just feel for all of them.

From my perspective, the thing about Cein being expelled or transferring schools is not about which option is best for Cein, but rather what is best for other people. What's best for Jeha's family, what's best for the principal, what's best for Hwan's father, and even what's best for Hwan himself. In the end, it's not about Cein.

ahhh episodes 9-12 are so heartbreakingly sad. They had me on the edge of my seat while watching them for the first time. Jeha's mother is horrible, she tells her son to ignore the fact that his stepbrother is a lying piece of trash who got him hurt and sent to the hospital only so that SHE could live in comfort with a man with money because there is no the way she's looking out for him and letting him live in a house with a guy that tried hurting him. She doesn't care, and the fact that she's willing to let Mingook slide with it so that Cein could take all the blame tells me a lot about what kind of person she is. She and Mingook deserve jail time in my eyes. Also, I do believe Haru cannot tell what is real from what is not, his auditory hallucinations have gotten grave to the point he's struggling to tell reality from what his subconsciousness allows. I blame his mother, again like Jeha's mother she refused to get him help, to allow him to speak of the trauma he went through only because she was afraid of how it would make the family name look. She worried SHE would be judged for having a mentally ill son, but it wouldn't have been an issue if she had given him what he needed in the first place—trash, plain and simple. Dogeon's mother is also another piece of work, I can't believe she would even suggest that he ask Jeha's mother for early money, instead of going looking for a job like a responsible adult should. She's putting all the hard responsibilities on her kid, while letting the other one run around, causing trouble, and expects Doegeon to do it only because SHE hides behind the poor excuse of needing to care for the father. Again putting more responsibility on her son who is struggling mentally and financially. He can't do it all on his own, she has some nerves omg it gets me heated. Also, I think Hwan wants Cein to be transferred for Cein's good. I think he knows how bad things would be for him if he stayed in town. So sadly he thought transferring schools and towns would be best for his friend, which I understand. Cein has been through enough pointing and blaming, adding Jeha's incident would make things ten times worse. I can't wait for the next episodes, more tears to come!!

lovelyminyoongi

goodness i want to finish watching it but i'm afraid it will be a sad ending and i will experience it alone and then with you guys, i WILL not be able to handle experiencing it twice

15...Err—50. I hate him 50/10. And I hate the principal 100/10. Haru's mom was sitting under the principal at 25/10, and I thought I couldn't hate anyone more than her—except for the principal, obviously. But that dude shot up real quick the moment he looked inside Cein and Hwan's classroom, stalking Jeha. Familia, I hope you survive this series. 🙁

Can't wait to watch this after work💜

no, marisol's seven inspired shirt and seeing jeha reminded me of one of the actor's drama, the world of the married, where he is the son of the main lead and han sohee is his father's mistress wherein the seven mv, sohee is the love interest of jk which is jeha 🤣 the connection 🤯 also, during the cafeteria scene with hwan, hosu, and jooan, i think hwan is starting to lose his memories(?) just like in the notes because he's asking "what's normal? my bros?" it seems like he doesn't really remember everything.

Hi Familia! I just woke up & saw the community post then this!!!! 🫠🫠🫠 I can't believe we are on Episode 9 already... eps 9 to 12 had me on my seat.. like these episodes were so intense, cruel & agonizing to watch but I loved it. It's been a while since a series made me feel this way..(although the most recent is Queen of Tears hehe) Anyways, back to Begins≠Youth.. eps 10 to 12 would be so hard to watch - I mean not all scenes but definitely most of it so be ready Familia huhuhuhu. Question of the day: What are your thoughts on Jae Ha’s stepbrother Min Kook? Rate how much you hate him on a scale from 1-10. - RATING HIM WOULD BE USELESS.. I WANT HIM IN JAIL. That's all..

Omg this episode was sooo good. Was crying the whole time. I feel so bad for Dogeon he's really has so much pressure on him and nobody to confide in. Idc about his mom she's need to get up and get a job. She's just lazy mother. A child should never have this type of responsibility on them. And she doesn't even care if it's breaking her son. Jeha mom is another example of getting off her butt and getting a job so her son can have a safe environment but these parents are selfish. I love Cein's dad the only good parent in the show. Omg that twist with Haru at the end. When I first saw I screamed cuz I did not see that coming at all. Great plot twist from them. That whole ending had my heart pounding I was so worried for Haru. Poor Haru. His parents are the worst parents of the show. Please can you guys drop episode 10 before next week?! It's my fav episode I can't wait another week for it 😩😩 9-12 are the craziest and most intense episodes of the season. This show is so good

I was also confuse with the school transferring but it seems that they want to transfer Cein with an ulterior motive that he’ll be seperate from his friends, it seems like the principal is trying to break apart the members in a way, we don’t know what the exact reason but we know the principal is bad based on Cein’s mom. The whole scene with Hwan is not clear to me tho, was he just feeling guilty for continuously cheating every test to get a good grade and that he had the final say in the action against Cein???

Jazzy

are we going to have a happy ending??? 😭😭

i have no words at all anymore. i am STRESSED i swear the glory didn’t stress me like this. i was so so so scared for haru when he encountered that guy again oh god.

Ohmyf**king heck this episode… bro dogeon had my heart from episode one and seeing him break down like that absolutely wrecked me. That scene between him and his mother and jooan…ESPECIALLY him lashing out at jooan gave me hella goosebumps. Everything he said was right. He’s been carrying so much responsibility and burden for both his family and friends. This high school kid had to grow up faster than he should have. Working afterschool, tutoring jeha , keeping up with his own studies, managing his family’s finances, looking after his sickly father, taking care of his mother and brother (who’s acting very wrecklessly atm) and on top of all that he had to be a listening ear to his best fiends despite his own struggles. Like literally last episode he was VERY SICK from stress, but he still chose to be there for hosu bc he knew he needed a friend. ugh my heart :( then we have the jeha/cein/mingkook storyline… I DESPISE THE STEPBROTHER 😒 I hated him last episode for setting cein up. Then I thought okay MAYBE after witnessing cein accidentally strike jeha (even though HE caused it) I thought maybe it was shake smth in him and he’d snap out of whatever insecurity and idiotic nature he had in him. But NO he freaking lies to the police. He had the chance to kinda redeem himself if he told the truth. After idk seeing your little stepbrother HOSPITALIZED?? he pissed me off so bad. Ceins dad having to beg the parents not to escalate this into a criminal case poor guy. Idc bro that scene of mingkook sitting across from jeha looking “guilty” like bro go away. I guess we’ll see next episode what he does. Hmph. My heart hurts for cein…he’s blaming himself and he’s probably not gonna go see jeha at the hospital out of guilt. The world is against him :( AND THAT BETTER NOT BE HARU BEING TAKEN TO THE HOSPITAL ISTG. I hope it’s a red herring but like I don’t want any of the others hospitalized. I HOPE ITS NOT CEIN EITHER bc why did he drive to a cliff 😭😭 anyways back to haru… wait first hosu is the sweetest kindest most beautiful person ever. Seeing on screen every time I smile so big. Truly radiates so much positivity. Despite his own struggles as well. He knows how to turn a tough situation into a better one.He gives his friends hope. (hope….oh my hobi I miss you) He told haru that talking this his reflection isn’t a bad thing if it means giving him smth to confide in. And even though hosu would rather haru confide in HIM (and he tells him that) for someone like haru who’s constantly been hearing that his “friend” doesn’t exist, or that he’s a psycho or a lunatic…hosus words must’ve been so reassuring. I feel so bad for haru though, it’s gotten to the point where he doubts if his own best friend is real😭😭 THE LAST SCENE. My heart dropped to the pit of my stomach when he entered that place and creepy teardrop bast*rd was there. I was like RUN HARU. But if he says he’s gonna kill him…🫢 uhhh I’m so scared I rlly wonder who’s bloodied up… protect my boys.

I feel like the thought process of Hwan as he time travels is to let each member know about the s*icide attempt of Cein’s mom. Because if he saves her then maybe Cein would not have to go through being accused of doing bad things all the time and not being able to attend school and eventually dying (from the notes and theory vid). But so far he has failed every single time 😭 the whole Cein hitting Jeha was just soo out of the blue, I really did not want to believe it but I guess I see now he just didn’t have control of his emotions.

Jazzy

how crazy and hypocritical that both mingook and haru’s mom are looking pitiful as if it wasn’t them that caused what they’re crying over. mingook was prolly scared for his life that he was gonna be sent to hell with that brick and that’s why he was shaken, clearly he didn’t feel guilty for what he did or else he would’ve told the truth. haru’s mom crying in front of the psychiatrist really does nothing for me cause SHE, the husband and her other son are the cause of haru’s pain and the reason why he create that imaginary friend, especially her, from what we’ve seen. because she made him keep his trauma to only himself and never has a chance to vent about it. also her saying she thought he started making friends and was happy is laughable cause the way she was indifferent towards hosu says it all, also he has 6 friends i don’t know what she’s talking about

deejebekosmos⁷

I think the ending scene is Cein. What happened with Jeha pushed him over the edge. When he was in the car looking out over the city he broke. Everything he keeps locked inside finally came rushing out and when you are that overwhelmed you are not thinking straight. I don't think I've gone a single episode without crying 😢.
