And among the choices that you have up here in this post, I agree with the majority that while The Glory is indeed FANTASTIC in so many aspects, the story is a bit heavy and dark for a first dive on Kdramas.. but if you're into that, i guess you would enjoy it nonetheless.. but the light hearted ones that have more comedic plus romantic elements in them and a lot of heartwarming storylines would definitely be: 1. Extraordinary Attorney Woo (the main lead girl who played Attorney Woo won the daesang on Baeksang Awards for her portrayal of the role. This drama became really popular in Korea and have been very successful in netflix worldwide as well. They confirmed a season 2 for this drama but I believe they are waiting for the main lead actor to come back since he's currently enlisted in the military. Definitely a MUST-WATCH drama. So much heartfelt and inspiring moments. There's a lot of comedic factor as well.) 2. Business Proposal (this is based from a webtoon and falls into the somewhat cliche signature romcom Kdrama. If you're a resident kdrama watcher, you would really know the signature romcom kdrama from way back the 2010s, but it still works up to this day no matter how cliche it can be hahaha!! The chemistry of the characters are INCREDIBLE.. there's a lot of funny elements to it but also moments of real conflict that makes the storyline interesting. This drama did great as well both domestic and international. Here in the Philippines it still sometimes pops up on Netflix Top 10 series. I always see it being recommended to reactors as well, esp if it's for first time Kdrama dive reactions like this.) 3. Crash Landing On You (creative storyline first of all!!! Falls into the romcom genre as well but certainly have a more heavy plot than Business Proposal since it involves political plot points. There are a lot of comedic scenes as well. A lot of very heartwarming and romantic moments too. And what makes it even more special for fans is that the lead actors actually ended up being a couple after this drama and are now married with a son! How cute is that!!! Definitely made all the kdrama fans dying of happiness when the news broke out couple years ago hahaha..) Anyway, that's it for my recommendations.. seems like there are a lot of kdrama fans in the familia as well.. There's a lot or suggestions to sift through so fighting for you familia kekeke.. I'm looking forward to starting this journey with you!! :)

Wow, the comments are overwhelming hahaha.. I hope you guys are able to go through every suggestions.. For my opinion on this, i would still recommend the ones I recommended last time because I think it would coincide with your love for working out : Oh My Venus or Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo Hwarang, as we always say, is also a great starter since Tae is in there.. Although Tae's role are quite minimal and it's a 20 episode drama, it's still worth the watch.. Historical themed Kdramas are always done so well! Another point to consider is I guess you should start with a light hearted one as introduction.. some of the kdrama suggestions are a bit on the extreme and heavy storylines.. but i mean if you are into suspense thriller/mystery crimes/action and or dramas with a touch of social tragedies and situations, melodrama, then I guess you'll be fine even if you start with a quite heavy kdrama. Overall, I'm not sure how the setup will be with this.. I'm not sure if I'm able to always catch the twitch stream because of the time difference (but I did follow you already on twitch), but I hope it can work out so everyone of us who wants to introduce you to the kdrama world are able to enjoy it together with you. As always, thank you for being so open and making an effort despite of your already packed sched. Wow! There are a lot of comments and I've been commenting quite a lot too haha, I'm so sorry I cannot contain my happiness and excitement. Like there are so many beautiful and amazing Kdrama out there and I can't stop thinking which one to go first. And also, watching Kdrama will help you with BTS's jokes or other conversation, because a lot of their references are from Kdrama, too. Specially the historical accents, words and phrases being used. Their gestures, their lines, the way they act too. Tae and Jungkook are big korean drama fans, but I'm not sure if they still have a time for it now. I'm planning on watching "Moving" because my sister recommended it (and we have the same taste when it comes to kdrama) and also, JK recommended it hehe. Anyways, whatever Kdrama you'll start with it's gonna be a commitment and it will definitely open a lot of korean culture from your end. I've been watching Kdrama since 2010, and I can say that there are a lot of Kdrama that is worth it. Here are my top 10 not in order: 1. Goblin 2. Itaewon Class 3. Entertainers 4. Kill Me Heal Me 5. My Girlfriend is a Gumiho 6. Tomorrow 7. Crash Landing on You 8. Mr Queen 9. While You were Sleeping 10. The Uncanny Counter Sadly, Hwarang is not there but I did watch some of it's episode and I had to rewatch it because of Taehyung. The Glory is also very good but it's so dark 😆, I really don't like heavy romancw drama where there are a lot of kissing scenes, I'm more on the slice of life genre, drama, a lot of twists and mysteriousness. I also love crime solving drama like Live, or Pinnochio, I can hear your voice. I also like IU's drama like Hotel De Luna. If it's family oriented then Hi, Bye Mama - this is a tearjerker hehe.

i think it really depends on what kind of genres you're into, but i do recommend a lighthearted romance drama to start your journey. my fav romance dramas are fight my way (park seojoon), business proposal (jk likes this one hAHA) and romance is a bonus book. some recommendations for serious/emotional dramas are move to heaven and navillera, and i also really love a time called you (about timeslip/time travel and romance, mixed with some thriller - can be confusing at first but brilliant once the story comes together, beautiful cinematography) edited to add hotel del luna (starring iu!) for some fantasy/romance! hotel del luna and goblin are my favourites for fantasy/romance dramas

I also want to suggest some of the following korean drama where the BTS members re-ennact in one of their Run BTS Episodes. - The Goblin [A VERY BEAUTIFUL AND SAD DRAMA] Jimin reenacted this - Kill Me Heal Me [A lot of twists, the main character has 7 personalities, NO BORING EPISODE] JK reenacted this. Park Seojoon is also in this - Moon Embracing the Sun [Similar to HWARANG it's historical/Joseon Dynasty - has some magic] Tae reeneacted to this. - Fight for my Way (?) I recommend you start with funny and easy going dramas like business proposal (which is also one of my favs). My mom started with our beloved summer but she got bored, after that one I tried with business proposal and she liked it because of how funny it was. Later on she watched our beloved summer and really liked it, so maybe something like that may be better to start with. My favorite drama is It’s okay not to be okay, but we can watch that one later lol. Other recommendations I would make are our beloved summer (the one with Choi woosik, that v wrote “Christmas tree” for it), itaweon class, a time called you, hotel de Luna, twenty five twenty one.

It's hard to pick! All the ones you mentioned are great ones and I've watched them all but it would be more fun to watch them with you again. I almost subscribed without realizing there is no schedule and you haven't picked a K-Drama yet, lol. Already followed you and will subscribe once you've picked one and if I'll be available on your scheduled live reactions. Live reactions are challenging because you have a different timezone. Like here in the Philippines we're like more than half day away. My time is 13 hours ahead of you, so if you schedule your lives at maybe 5pm your time then that would be 6am my time and I might still be asleep since I sleep really late. Anyway, I hope this works for all of us. Good luck on picking a K-Drama. There will be too many suggestions. These are the K-Dramas I watched more than once because they were so good and I have no problem watching them again with you: (1) Goblin. I watched this over 5 times haha! It's a fantasy romcom with intense drama. The only romcom that will make you laugh a lot but also make you cry (2) Strong Woman Do-Bong Soon. This one is another romcom that's addictive. (3) Hwarang - a period piece that I love not only because V is there, but also because it's really good. Here are some other K-Dramas I highly recommend. I've only watched them once but they're also really good. (1) Flower of Evil (about a couple where the husband might be a serial killer so his detective wife is torn between her family and career) (2) Mouse (only the best serial killer theme ever but more intense and gory than Flower of Evil) (3) It's Okay Not to be Okay. this one's a romcom and psychological drama (4) Moving. Honestly way much better than Marvel and DC superhero movies or series. This one is topnotch. If you want a different superhero series, this one's the best pick. You will be blown away. There are way too many, familia! But these are the top ones I could think of that I love the most.

OMG!!!! I'm so excited! Okay, calm down, I got out of breath with the speed I ran to the comments lol Okay, so I'm simply in love with It's Okay Not To Be Okay (it's a k-drama that simply drives you crazy with theories) but I really wanted to see how you would react to The Glory, the first episode is very tense but then the story is simply IMPECTABLE. Regarding Hwarang, although I like it a lot and have watched it more than once lol because of Tae, it's not a k-drama that I'm a big fan of in general. Vicenzo is VERY GOOD, you'd love it I believe. Now the other suggestions I've never watched. In short, my vote goes to The Glory and It's Okay Not To Be Okay , but to be honest, I just want to have fun with you so whichever one you choose I'll be clocking in and watching it with you. Some of my personal favs that I recommend: Hwarang(has V, Seojun and Hyungsik), Strong Women Do Bong Soon(has a lot of funny moments but some very dark ones as well plus the acting is amazing🤌🏼 also has Hyungsik), Alchemy of Souls (has a very interesting story and plot line), Happiness (the name is a liar but it also has Hyungsik), All of Us Are Dead (about zombies do I need to say more). I wouldn’t recommend watching the glory first cause it is a more serious kdrama I want to watch something more “fun” first.

But since December is Christmas Season, and you've already watch intense Kmovies like Train to Busan and Parasite, I think it's time start the month with a lighter Kdrama, so I would suggest "Extraordinary Attorney Woo", I don't want to give any spoilers but this show is very heart-warming and comforting, Familia. One of the best Kdramas of 2022 for me. You have to watch it! It's amazing! 💜

Crash landing on you is a very good intro to Kdramas, classic formula checks all the boxes. Business proposal is very light hearted, more romcom vibes. The glory is kinda tough to watch it’s pretty dark so depends on the mood. It’s ok and attorney woo have great unique storylines! Can’t go wrong!

i don’t think the glory is good as your 1st kdrama😭 i recommend you to watch twinkling watermelon or business proposal (jungkook loves it) or fight for my way (there’s wooshik and park seojoon on this drama). those 3 dramas are so funny, so i think that’s better to be your 1st kdrama
