It was the first time I got in touch with korean culture through the kdrama: boys over flowers. I really like the OST of SHINee and that was first time I got introduced to kpop. Since then I've been hooked haha. I would also love to see the suchwita episode with Kim Jongwan of Nell. He did a few collabs with Yoongi and Namjoon. I saw them last summer in Korea and it was such a beautiful moment. They are amazing artists!

So I was so happy to see this episode and also I was so happy when I heard that Jimin and Taemin are close friends few years ago. Even though I’m not shawol anymore but I still think they are such a great artists and good people. They have lots of great songs. If your are interested in SHINee, I recommend Sherlock, Dream girl and View. Their b-side songs are also popular to be good. In korea, SHINee is very popular and also they are popular individually. They are still active both in k-pop and variety shows. And I never think of 93liner, but yeah there’s not much..? But if there’s, they are very popular lol like Suga, Taemin, IU etc… Anyway it was so fun to see this again with you😆

Fast forward to 2020 when I first discovered BTS, to be honest Jimin reminded me a lot of Taemin, from his face features (especially lips), contemporary dance, high pitched voice, even their personality is kinda similar, lovable and caring others but at the same time like to tease others with their cuteness 😂

I saw so many fancams of Taemin and Jimin together during award show season, along with the other ppl in their little group. You would see all the members with certain ppl and the members would either just bow and greet them or share the same mutual friends lol. Its kinda funny how Jimin's friend group Padding squad are all very popular and known for their dance skills as well, talented people coming together lol. Also wanna add, as much as i do see similarities between Jimin and Taemin/Taeyang. Jimin is a bit more special in my eyes, all of bts is. Ofc the have gotten influenced by many idols but they each have their own color and individuality (as does Taemin as a solo artist.) They are very different from the average idol group and i think thats why they have made it so far. They have something special 💜 While most groups have clearly branched out, BTS remain with the same goal in mind. i cant wait for their return!

He’s one of jimin’s closest friends in the industry(since 2016 I believe) That’s how I discovered he was in a group named Shinee and became a shawol. I adore Jitaemin friendship so much along with the rest of “the padding squad” So Jimin surprising him was just so heartwarming to see. The kpop world has been waiting to see more interactions between Jimin and Taemin and hopefully they get a chance to collab🙏🏽 As a Jimin and Taemin biased armyxshawol, I was personally on cloud nine!!✨✨

Fun fact Taemin actually debuted in 3 different generations: 2nd gen with SHINee in 2008 3rd gen as a solo artist in 2014 and 4th gen with SUPERM in 2019.

Taemin & Jimin both are very cautious about their weight & diets. so different from episodes with JK who ate so happily throughout! This episode's so much fun seeing both 93ers yet one as maknae one as hyung radiate such different vibe. Then added jimin as special guest?! 3 of them same height!!! then Taemin & Jimin both are so similar & both adorable babies! From here we saw Taemin is a protective friend of jimin. When jimin said he didn't leave home for 3 wks & felt lonely, Taemin immediately asked "why didn't you call me?!". Then when Jimin said please don't talk about me (Lie), this should be about him Taemin today", Taemin went "Why?(why not)". Same as Suga, Taemin knows Jimin's insecurity to himself & tried to give as many compliments to him.

Shinee was the next group I found after I became a fan of BTS, I watched Minho in Hwarang with Tae and started to listen to them thankfully it was roughly when Minho was discharged from the military and they were coming back with their song ‘Don’t Call Me’ which is of course now one of my favourite because it was my first. Taemin wise, my favourite songs are Advice, Move & Sayonara Hitori.

I enjoy their songs but not their personality and other stuff, plus I don't really have smartphone and as students I have a limited access of internet during that time. I somewhat follow kpop outside of BTS and even just from me trying to super casually keep up with kpop stuff, I know that Taemin is a kpop legend. I think it would be hard for people who aren't really into kpop in general to truly get how much of an impact he and his group has had on the industry. You can't have a conversation about the best dancers in kpop without Taemin coming up, or the best performances without Shinee.

I stumbled across their debut in 2008 and have loved them with my whole being since. SHINee was and continues to be crazy influential on the industry. They've also been crazy influential on me as a person. Because I was 8 when they entered my life I have grown up with them, and they've had a huge impact on every aspect of me. When I first showed SHINee content to my best friend she said that she could see elements of my personality in each of the members, almost like I had absorbed each member's personality. This interview means the world to me. Hearing Taemin talk about his work so openly and talk about his journey is just so incredible to me. I am also endlessly thankful that the editors did not edit out Jonghyun. I know Yoongi would never let that slide but it still means SO much to me that they kept Jonghyn in his correct spot. SHINee is and forever will be 5 and it is so disrespectful when people cut Jonghyun out, and it makes me so happy that the Big Hit editors properly showed the group. QOTD: Its so insanely hard to pick just one Taemin song, but the song that first came to mind is Heaven. 2023-11-13 03:19:41 +0000 UTCSHINee (pronounced shiny) are still together,our 5 bright members 💎 Their last comeback was Hard (only 3 members did the promotions because their leader Onew is on a hiatus for health issues if i remember correctly).Onew,the leader,powerful vocalist and strong too (i dont know now but he used to be able to break a walnut with one flick of a finger).Jonghyun,the main vocalist,sadly passed in december 2018,but he's forever here. If you watch variety shows,Key is in those a lot (he used to be called Almighty Key because he was good at dancing,singing,rapping,everything),he always seems to know every songs' dances. Minho is popular as an actor and is friend with Taehyung;also he loves sports and is very competitive. Key and Minho are both 1991 liners and we often say they are like an old married couple because they are the same age but are so different in a lot of aspects so they bicker a lot (as seen in the clip where Minho was eating peaches).And then Taemin,the maknae. As said here,he's a huge role model for a lot of people,including Jimin and Hoshi (Hoshi is a successful fanboy and also Key mentioned that Carats would go to Seventeen fansigns and gift Hoshi SHINee stuff). He might be calm here but he's mischievous with his members.

If so, what’s your favorite song of his? - Not really familiar with Taemin or any Shinee Songs but I do know some of the members, specially when their main vocalist (?) Jonghyun - passed away, it was such a sad story that I had to look them up (it was on our local news). I recognize Minho, he was in Hwarang, if ever in the future you'll react to it, you'll see him there, him & V's character is quite close hehe (spoiler, sorry). One of my friends is a Taemin bias hehe, she really loves him & she was able to attend his concert here just recently, and it was kinda cute bec she posted a picture of Yoongi and told Taemin via caption that this is his new man atm 😆🫶💜 But I could say that Shinee is one of the very 1st kpop group that I heard.

Wooga Squad started with Sungwoon, the guy Jimin made the song “With You.” And from Sungwoon, he basically just kept introducing them to one another & they became one group of friends.

I’m not a stan anymore (I kinda stopped when Jonghyun passed away, it was too much) but they have a special place in my heart always; I could talk about them for hours. They’re still an active group, but Taemin just got back from the military a few months ago. They were in a similar situation as BTS, still an active group, just doing solo work/variety shows, passing time.

His artistry and everything about him just hits so close to home. He is a big inspiration on my own art and writing and he's also why Jimin is my BTS bias.
