AND I'M SO EXCITED ABOUT THE KDRAMA but i still don't know much about twitch lol. For kdrama i recommend you to watch Fight For My Way, you'll see Park Seojoon and Choi Woosik on that drama. That drama is so good and SO HILARIOUS too!! one of my favorite kdrama ever actually

2023-11-04 10:30:49 +0000 UTCFor movie night I recommend the movie “dream” it’s light-hearted and fun + park seojun and IU are both in it. It’s not the best movie I’ve ever watched but it’s fun. For more intensity and action I recommend the witch 1, choi wooshik is in it along with the actress kim dami whom you’ve heard on “in the soop: friendcation” that she acted with both seojun and wooshik, so maybe this movie could be an introduction for you to her bcoz she’s hands down one of the best k-actresses out there, and then hopefully go from there to her k-dramas with both of them (with seojun: Itaewon class, with wooshik: our beloved summer (the one the wooga squad were watching on in the soop) both k-dramas are one of the best and iconic ones that you can’t miss out on. Excited for every saturday, Also for the twitch idea, SIGN ME UP.

It is based on a feminist book (that namjoon has read and recommended) about a korean housewife and how she deals with motherhood and her inlaws, and how the patriarchal society affects her. It is a really good movie and Yumi did a great job, and i think it sheds light on a lot of societal issues not only in korea but in the world in general. It also stars Gong Yoo who played the dad in Train to Busan! So there are some familiar faces and it is a very relevant movie in my opinion!

2023-11-04 07:50:47 +0000 UTCYeah, I was thinking about that because if you can make it for ep 1 of ILAND/kdrama but can't make it for ep 2 but you can make it for ep 3 then that just complicates things if there's no VOD or something cause especially if you're watching along with them and not on your own then you've then missed out on ep 2 and their commentary and thoughts and also you not knowing what happened in ep 2, also it would just be nice to rewatch their reactions✨🥰 [Just making an example if that makes any sense]🧚🏻♀️

I remember when some of the BTS members were putting it on their insta stories and all. When i saw all the hype for the second season i checked in to see, i kept looking at Kirsten in the 3D dance practice being like "she looks familiar, is that that woman from street woman fighter?", i love when things align lol😂 and when they make references and i know what that reference is, i feel like i'm in on the joke or something, like i feel included in it when i know what it is and it doesn't just go over the top of my head cause i don't know. Soz, had to rant about that oops✨

Synopsis: It's a simple story about two young police academy cadets who don't have a real strong reason or desire to become police officers and who unwittingly find themselves in a situation that requires them to demonstrate the moral fiber and courage of what one would hope to find in a future police officer.

2023-11-04 06:16:14 +0000 UTCHmmm movies: a lot of the ones I’ve watched are all the old ones from early 2000s (many of the ones BTS have watched and make references to a lot) so I don’t know if any of those are really your style, cause it was a different time of film style that we don’t really see often now in modern cinema. But some that I have seen that you might like: #Alive, Peninsula, you said you already watched Parasite but wouldn’t mind watching it again, The pirates is funny it has a sequel to it, I know some people requested Dream with Park Seo Joon and IU, Snowpiercer isn’t in Korean but it’s a movie directed by Parasite’s Bong Joon Ho.

Or Alive if you want another zombie movie. Korean zombie movies are the best! Also, there's Concrete Utopia which stars Park Seo Joon or Dream which stars both Park Seo Joon and IU. Let me write them all down with the genre: (1) Parasite - this is the first Oscar winning Korean movie so you might want to really watch this. It's a psychological black comedy thriller (2) The Witch - suspense thriller. Super violent but great actors (3) Concrete Utopia - dystopian thriller (4) Dream - a heartfelt drama and comedy. There are way too many good Korean movies but those are the ones that instantly popped into my mind.

I remember that Hobi was a big fan of season 1 and for this season JK and V have been working with 2 teams who are on the show, “Jam Republic” with JK for “3D dance practice video” and V with team “BEBE” when he was performing on music shows in Korea. I hope you like my recommendations 🥺 it's a very entertaining show! when I started watching I wasn't expecting anything but I have been having so much fun. So I thought that Familia would like this 💜👀 and maybe not and that's fine 😂
