Four episodes full of JK and Min-woo from Shinhwa doing their favorite things together getting a workout in and eating meat. 😋💪
Since this was shot in 2016/17 we got to see a fun dynamic of a very young, timid JK who was still finding his voice. With a senior Min-woo a member of the longest-running boy band in the history of K-pop [according to Wikipedia]. 👏
The perfect timing if we must say.
There was a lot JK could learn from Min-woo at the moment and he was all ears, he went to meet Min-woo with an open and slightly nervous heart.
Also, we really enjoyed Jin and Jimin’s commentary in the last episode. Jimin said JK wasn’t acting like himself. 😂

I remember an instance when all 6 were drinking one night, member Hyesung was talking and Minwoo just wanted him to shut up, so he punched him, thinking this will knock him out and shut him up like the cartoons. Of course all hell breaks loose and in the end, the place is trashed, all six order chicken and end up eating, drinking, singing through the night on the floor.

2022-10-12 08:24:23 +0000 UTCI’m sure someone answered this, but “call me Hyung” is establishing both a) that the hierarchy of age is established, but mostly b) to assume a familiarity. Traditionally, it is considered extremely rude to assume friendships or familiarity- to a point where making small talk with strangers is rejected. (Of course modern society has changed slightly, but only amongst the younger generations). One must be introduced by person/meeting/reason/etc. to establish any familiarity. “Call me Hyung” means we are close enough to consider me your brother. Also, Shinhwa is kind of the TXT of SM Ent. They were the second boy band to debut from SM and they were part of the reason why SM is so huge. In middle school, I was so obsessed with them- I actually got to see them live at a Music Bank once! Similarly to BTS, they were SUPER popular because of their relationship with each other and their fans. They were known to be super loud, rowdy, hilarious, chaotic. They have the MOST epic drunk stories I have ever heard.

For example, TXT used to call BTS sunbaenim (they still do in professional settings) but since they're closer now they would say "Jimin hyung" instead of "Jimin sunbaenim" in a personal setting. It's similar-ish in Japan, they usually call people by their family name unless they are close and they call each other by their given name and -san usually.

To answer some of your questions: Yes, I know SHINHWA and enjoyed their music and variety show appearances in the past, they are big names and have won Daesangs too before. Also, one thing they famous of in entertainment industry was that they are REALLY, like REALLY CHAOTIC that even the company given up on controlling them hahaha. After their contract with SM ent expired, they build their own company as Minwoo and their leader Eric become the co-CEO.

Familia would you consider adding ISAC (Idol Star Athletic championships to the poll? I know it might take long cause bts appeared in 4 championships but maybe react to a youtube compilation with only bts parts or adding one of the championships to the poll from time to time? He wanted to make a music band and he wanted to be a vocalist, song writer and producer for the group. He recruited two famous dancers – YG and Lee, Juno – and that’s how 'Seo Taiji and Boys' was born. JYP - Remember the part when Minwoo sang a song, 'Elevator' in the elevator which was released in 1995 and JK didn't know the song..? That is JYP’s song. : ) JYP(Jin-Young Park) and Bang PD were known as hit-maker duo producers. They produced many groups together and when JYP first started his company, Bang PD joined the company and worked as a main producer. Later, when Bang PD made his own company, Big Hit entertainment, Bang PD started to work with one of the group they produced together – 2AM. (that’s why we can find some of BTS members as dancers in 2AM’s old stages or MVs.)

Loved the advice Minwoo gave, watching it now it's really what they went through, the greed of personal gains but not wanting to disband and everything!! Glad he gave them this advice back in 2016!!! I believe Shinhwa is together till this day, so it's really amazing I loved to see their dynamic as Senior/Junior and getting more comfortable as they day went by!! Don't know if they still maintain contact but hope so!!! Jin and Jimin's reaction is so funny 😂😂 Also, you said it feels like a Vlive, I'm pretty sure they did a Vlive this day too!!! P.S.: And Sandeul is from B1A4 and he's Jin's friend since a long time!! And since we are in this topic, Jin has other old friend too Ken from VIXX!! They are both 92liners i think, he was in a group chat with a lot of 92's idols so he's good friend with Moonbyul from Mamamoo too and some other idols i don't remember now

I think what they were saying is that BTS were excitedly saying hello to everyone in the hallways in a messy way (as they just debuted and was still getting the hang of it) and then Shinhwa advised to them say all together their greeting because it would be better and would promote the name of the group!!

Because they just met, but Minwoo wanted for him to be comfortable and stuff!! If someone is older and you are not close you have to talk in a formal way, using like "-ssi", "-nim" etc Example: in Hoseok's interview with IU, she said he didn't know how to call her because she's older by a year and his senior so he would say "Noonim" which is "Noona" a way Man refers to a older woman but more formal because of the "-nim" Another example would be: in a Vlive Jimin called Hobi with "Hyungnim" and Hoseok was "Ya why are you so formal? You can talk freely" in a teasing way, because Jimin added the "-nim" you get it?? I'm not really good at explaining but hope you understand 😅

Even tho they changed agencies several times, the 6 members still do promotions and comeback together from time to time. I always want bts to be like them, always stay together after many many years and still somehow active in the industry 💜💜
