"Size Difference World" Game Development Story

Hi!

This is another Sunday post from the Size Difference World game development story.

Although I have already mentioned this several times in previous posts, I will repeat that, for now, all my efforts are focused on the upcoming release of another game. It is called Final Exam, and you can read about its development in another series of posts.

However, I am not stopping the development of Size Difference World, even though I have to temporarily do less than I did before. I know that most followers prefer this game.

I would like to ask everyone who has access to the working build of Size Difference World to leave your feedback. I first asked for this in my post two Sundays ago, and so far, few followers have replied. I kindly request everyone to be more active! Please!

Here's the thing. The game's development is now at an important point where the main character has to make a choice about how the game will proceed. The main character has to make this choice after spending the night at the house of his new friends Ayumi and Harumi. The ending of the game will depend on the main character's choice.

Unfortunately, I can't develop all the branches at once, so I need to start with one. I kindly ask everyone who has access to the working build: please go through the build to the end and let me know which storyline you would like to see developed first.

Of course, I am not insisting that you do this. It's entirely voluntary. However, to be honest, I would like to see more activity from my followers.

Returning to the story of development, I want to say that this weekend I worked a little on the global map of the area. Of course, this is not the final version, and the map will change during development. New towns will be added, as well as other locations and elements. It is possible that the landscape will also be changed. Also, in the more distant future, new areas will definitely be added.

Already now, in the new working build, you can walk around a preview version of the global map. Even though this map is still empty, you can already see what areas exist in Size Difference World. And there will be more of these areas in the future.

At the moment, you can freely visit each of the newly created zones. Later, zones will be opened depending on the path chosen by the player... However, the player can only leave the city to explore the territories after the main character solves the problems with Jane (with the help of Scarlet).

I would like to note one thing. If you want to use a saved game from the old version of the working build to speed up your progress, you may encounter some bugs. This is because new data appears in the game during development. As a result, the old save may not work properly. Therefore, to avoid bugs, it is best to play the game from the beginning. Please excuse this inconvenience. Unfortunately, this cannot be avoided. Such is the development process. Fortunately, there is not much content in the game yet. And some places can be skipped.

Due to time constraints, related to the temporary focus on completing the development of Final Exam, only one new image was added to Size Difference World this weekend. It has already been added to the locked gallery (in the Size Difference World image section from June 22, 2025), and to the working build of the game in a secondary scene with a girl in a bathhouse.
