Jimin’s iconic jazz split will always have my jaw on the floor everytime I see it. He’s inSANE! He does it so effortlessly and gets back up like nothing😳🤯His body control, technique, expression, strength, and flexibility is top-notch!

This era is truly everything, this was my first real comeback after becoming army when they first performed on the AMAs with DNA. I remember getting that teaser for fake love and I lost my sh** lol. Also just so you guys know, the snickers bars were mostly because of the storyline from the BU, where Hoseok's mom abandons him at a carnival with just a snickers bar, so when the first snickers goes through the door in the video it's like his fear is trickling in and risks engulfing him. We later see that his fear of abandonment DID engulf him in the extended version when Hoseok's hand is pulled down and engulfed by the snickers (his fears/trauma). Hopefully this helps :)

Armys had soooooo much fun trying to decipher the teaser and how it connected to both and what it meant. I don't mean to spoil anything, but I figure it's okay to mention now? Really quick, what each member's focus is: in the BU, Jungkook runs away from home and is homeless for a period of time. That's why he's living in the walls and wearing crappy clothing with holes and stuff. RM is also homeless, living in the cargo container. Jimin had something traumatic happen with water in the BU, and he has this fear of water/drowning now. Hobi's mother abandoned him at an amusement park and left him with just a snickers bar - and the snickers going through the keyhole is similar to how he was in the institute and they would drop a pill through the slot at appointed times. You also see his sleep problem, how he randomly falls asleep. Tae is trying to call Joonie for him (when he gets his one phone call from prison), but the phone turns to sand and he's unable to call/Joon is unable to answer. Jin is the one protecting the Smeraldo flower (most likely) and the opening/closing of curtains is exactly the same as the BU scenes. And Yoongi wants to set things on fire again (and it's connected to music, like in the BU, Highlight Reels, and Wings teaser). I hope this all makes sense, lol.

2022-02-23 20:23:43 +0000 UTCI thoroughly enjoyed this reaction! When you both grabbed your lip for Tae's lip ring I lost it laughing 😂 and I also do the 0.5x speed watching the practices! It's my favourite way to watch them, so I support this notion for future practices. I can't say much for this era because I came in at the end of the LY era as a fully fledged army so I played catch up for the end of 2018, so I KNOW I would have been WHY? HOW? and WHAT FOR? for every thing in this song 😂 I was super confused but so into the story and concept. Fake lake really is a masterpiece and LY TEAR is that b***h!

So for Fake Love, the mv is related to the BU storyline (notice the objects and traumas have appeared in other mv's thats why jimin says is time to face his trauma from I NEED U, water/drowning) The lyrics are not part of the BU, but from the love yourself trilogy. It started with Her, the bright happy side of love but sometimes you want to please someone that much that you end up changing yourself to the point that you can't even recognize you. It could be love for someone, it could be fame. Why I love about bts songs is that theres multiple interpretations I can't stop repeating that part of the choreo at 31:31 when they move 3 to one side and 3 to another side to start a new formation, so smooooooth

2022-02-23 07:38:09 +0000 UTCon bighit survival show iland when bts were invited, they did explain a bit about the dance. if I'm not mistaken, jimin and hobi said that one specific part in the dance is like a mannequin or a doll that's being tied (?) like the one we always see on theater, oh I think its like puppets? like someone is controlling your move, and that's when I think it correlates with the lyric "make me your doll"

I miss watching it, they would always promised to do something if they win and it would be hilarious!! All the time at the end they would took their time saying bye to armys and in 2018 everytime Taehyung leave he would say "So show me" and army's would respond with "i show you" it was so cute!!!! I'm sure they miss this music shows they were so sad when doing it in ON era since there was no Armys there :(( P.s.: i feel like you guys will react to Namjoon ripping Jk's shirt on YouTube, familia 🤔🤔 I'll wait for it hahah

It was so so bad, feels like the only time they really focused on them was when JK showed his abs lol, it's iconic because it was the first performance but not for the camera work.... At least i feel like today is not that bad, like the recent AMAs it was not that bad but it was still very bad 😅 Omg familia, when you saw Taehyung fake lip ring and both of you put your hand on your lips at the same time!!! I was like... colours, water, fire, explosions, handsome faces, cult guy haha. It was like I stepped into a different world, it was so different to what I had ever seen them do before.

And about the song, all the Love Yourself eras are like periods(?) Like in Her is the pretty love, where everything is good and you give your all to the other person, in Tear is really about the "Love" tearing apart because it's toxic, you gave your all and the person didn't give it back and you don't know who you are anymore because you lost yourself in the person... But there's also the interpretation that Fake love is about the toxic fans and etc. like the line "try to erase myself and make me your doll" the toxic fans just want them to be perfect and stuff like that you know?? P.S.: Seeing you guys trying to guess what is happening having no clue is kinda funny 😂

Joon with his reflection, Jin with everything crashing and him trying to protect/save them, Yoongi with the fire and piano, Hobi with the chocolate bars and the kids' playground equipments, Jimin with the water (when he was trying to drown himself) Tae with the phone (I assume this was when he was trying to contact Joon), Kook watching all of them falling apart while he is left alone(?)
