Hi!
It's the middle of the work week, and my fresh post into the story of Final Exam game development is coming up.
As I mentioned earlier, this game already has a potential publisher (unfortunately not a sponsor) who, periodically, rushes me to release the game. Unfortunately, the development of this game has been delayed too long. It has undergone a change of concept, visuals, story and engine.
I, originally, planned to make a game with Super Metroid (SNES) mechanics, with multiple endings. During the development process, I had to abandon the non-linearity of the story to simplify it, and also had to remove a lot of game mechanics. The number and length of levels also had to be reduced... I hope that all my ideas will be realized in my future projects.
I've almost finished placing the enemy characters in the final location. Just a little bit more, and the most difficult part of the development will be completed. I will only have to create all the images for the game's cutscenes. This will not be a quick process, as there are a lot of images, and they are not created in a moment. But, for me, it will be the easiest process technically!.. After that, there will be a short testing and polishing phase, and... And that's it! Release!..
It won't be long until the game will see the light of day! I don't know about you, but I'm looking forward to it!
I don't think I need to repeat why I can't update the working build of the game. If anyone doesn't know, please read the previous posts.
