Hey familia! I'm a Korean army and I just wanted to give you guys some context on what go go is about. I know many international fans think that this song is criticizing the youth for spending too much money, but it really isn't. In Korea, young people are struggling to find jobs and buy houses because housing prices are ridiculous. In fact, an average young person can buy a house if they save up 100% of their income for more than 20 years. Young people in korea don't have money because of the bad system, yet media always criticizes young people for wasting their money. The korean youth would work so hard to save up money by giving up the things they want to do, but it's all useless because that money can't even buy a house. This is when the word 탕진잼 was widely used. The word is use to describe the happiness you feel when buying a small item you like. BTS is sending a message that it's okay to spend a little money for yourself. They are saying that it's not our fault we don't have enough money. It's the system's fault. I really recommend you guys to check out "BTS go go explained by a korean fan" if you want more explanation. During those times before they record, they talk to armys or just goof off in front of armys like how they normally do.. ARMYs who get to attend the pre-recording always shares their stories about it so it gets spread through army twitter via our hardworking translators.. *sigh* I'm sure the boys miss having those small but special moments with army.. Hopefully the LA concert is finally the start of them being able to be together again with armys.. And I also pray you get the tickets familia, amidst all this chaos with ticketmaster. Fighting!! :))

2021-10-11 11:04:26 +0000 UTCAs Tae mentioned, the heart event idea originally came from Jin's heart event that he did throughout their fan meeting vol. 3 and Wings tour, where Jin made hearts out of different things and pulled out a heart from various places. Some of his ideas were super creative and hilarious! Such a fun way to surprise ARMYs💜 I can't wait for you to see it. I think you'll eventually see it when you watch Memories 2017 but you should also just try to search "Jin heart event" on Youtube and you'll find some compilations.

And the lyrics are really sad, because it's basically about a love where you put everything in it, you put a mask on and try to change yourself to be "perfect" for the other person, it's really deep!!! And they don't hint just tear, but they say all the love yourself "eras": Wonder, Answer, Her and Tear lol, it was in our face and we just noticed very much later!!

The lyrics and message are so good i love this song so much!! Also, familia, yes, they always had this little interactions with armys before performing on music shows it was so cute!! I'm sure they miss this so much :(( P.s.: familia, can you put this Bangtan bomb on the list too??
