I just wanted to take a moment to say a big thank you for these videos. In Feb, my grandad (who had dementia) went missing. We, the police and half of the city were out looking for him. Unfortunately, it was the worst possible news. And then in March, we all went into lockdown and I was stuck at home with my step-father who has always been emotionally abusive (I can handle it a lot better now that I'm an adult, but it's still difficult). During that time, my brother eneded up in hospital and my sister was living on her own far away from us. I ended up on basically no pay for months and...this year has just been really hard. But all this is just to say that whilst that has been going on, your videos have been a bit of light in the darkness. and I've never taken the chance to say it before, but I'm so grateful to you both. Thank you so much for bringing this positivity <3

- I've had 7 surgeries by the time I was 35 - 5 scheduled, 2 emergency - but I've never broken a bone or torn anything, so can't say what that's like - my issues dealt with my ovaries trying to kill me since puberty, and people being so obsessed with baby making that no one but me was comfortable with the idea of simply removing the damned things - hospital tour - actually, in Korea, Koreans are very much into health and self-care, and you can book medical tours - you can compare hospitals, doctors, and services, and have them schedule ALL your health maintenance appointments all at once and get them taken care of within a couple days at top some rate hospitals - medical tours is a big thing around the world, actually - people traveling to specific countries to utilize their specialties

He had the accident before debut. He mentioned it in one of their Burn The Stage episodes. He used to be a deliver boy pre-debut cause they needed the money (not sure if it was for his school), so he got into an accident and he hurt his shoulder badly, so yeah, he's been injured since then. He is really STRONG.

he's actually had the shoulder problem since 2013 and it's crazy how he's been living through that but I'm glad he seems to be doing better now. The appendix surgery was in 2013 and in 2016 he had an ear injury and couldn't participate in year-end ceremonies.

ahh yoongi’s lives always fill me with a sense of peace, even when i’m lucky enough to catch them live but i can’t understand him, his voice is so soft and soothing. about his shoulder, he got into an accident when he was a trainee, he was hit by a car and dislocated his shoulder. he was too scared to tell bighit in case they fire him, so he didn’t go to the hospital, so it healed wrong, and that’s why he’s always had an issue with it. it’s really sad that it happened to him, but i also think it very much displays his strength of character. he’s so hard working and was so hungry for success he didn’t even let something like this stop him. he’s truly an amazing person 🥺 p.s. can u guess who my bias is lol

Yoongi had an accident while doing part-time when he was a trainee but he kept secret from Bighit and the other members, that's how he got his shoulder injury. In 2013 he had an appendectomy (if I remember correctly, they were Japan and they had to transfer him back to Korea for surgery). The members visited him after. Yoongi had through so much growing up, I guess that's the reason why his thought process is so mature and he too wise for his age.

I would like to add that the accident was really bad, when he tells the other members in burn the stage he said that he went under a car but didn't go for medical treatment for the fear, so imagine more than 7 years having to live a life where what gives you the most joy (making music and performing in his case) also brings this much pain. He also talks about this accident in his first mixtape in the song "The Last" where he opens up about all the struggles in his life just to be where he is now.

The accident he was talking about is the car accident. He got hit by a car. He told about it in Burn the Stage. They told bighit and the members that he fell on the stairs, but the truth is he had a car accident cause he thought bighit might kick him out from being a trainee. So, he's been practicing and training while his arm hurt. And yes, he also had appendicitis. Members went to hospital before. They had a picture. Also, if i'm not wrong, it's the time when they brought Suga bear in ISAC. The members were carrying a bear with bandana that represents yoongi. when it comes to facts or other intelligent information(?), yoongi is also great at that. Sometimes, when members ask namjoon about something and he can't answer, he's gonna say "That is Yoongi-hyung's specialty". So when they have questions, yoongi is asking them what is the question, and then answer them.
