BTS makes Kimchi! All of them put in so much love and work into their Kimchi ๐ญ. It was really nice to learn the different styles and flavors there are to Kimchi.
P.S. Familia please remind us whos the youngest of them is because Jungkook was acting real mature in the kitchen today ๐คฃ

so there are a lot of different types of kimchi....the marinade is almost the same but the taste is different cause the vegetables are different....cabbage kimchi is a classic and is always served everywhere......thats actually not a lot of kimchi they are making cause families do sometimes a lot more they put them into container etc and have a separate fridge for it cause the smell is really strong and you dont want to have it next to your other groceries....traditionally you burry kimchi in your garden it keeps it cool and safe.....jimins parilla leave kimchi is really strong cause parilla leaves have really a stong taste so i guess you dont eat much of it thats why its in a small box....but cabbage and radish kimchi is mild and you can eat a ton of it.....also there are a lot of dishes like kimchi fried rice and kimchi jjiggae which are made with kimchi and really loved by koreans so you need a lot of it....you were also surprised that they eat it raw...thats how you eat it...kimchi means basically fermented vegetables ....sry for my english :D

2020-02-14 00:17:31 +0000 UTCI mainly know of the cabbage kimchi since that's what's given at Korean restaurants. I've recently been introduced to cucumber kimchi though and I love it.

2020-02-13 08:30:12 +0000 UTCI like kimchi. But I don't eat original kimchi cause I don't like the fish taste. I tried it and it wasn't for me. Haha. I eat vegan napa cabbage kimchi. Nasoya brand. Spicy flavored. Haha. You can find it in any supermarket in the vegan section. You guys should give it a try.

2020-02-08 06:58:13 +0000 UTCFor Korean, Kimchi is a main stable food. Once a year, they make kimchi and put it a big clay pot. The family will eat kimchi thru out the year. I just love kimchi myself. I tried to make it once...its not easy.

I sometimes buy it, but most of the time I make it myself (the kind RM, V and Jin are making. My favorite moment of BV was when V got lost. Really made me think I should enjoy life more.

But one iconic moment that I know until now the boys are still talking about, is the camping car. They really enjoyed it. Such a bummer namjoon wasn't in it (he get to experience it though on season 4 hehe) but yeah, i'll go with their moments in the camping car! :)

2020-02-06 13:29:39 +0000 UTCI haven't tried any other kimchi yet. the ones I've tried so far are the spicy ones and I can't handle spicy foods. I like to try sour ones and see if it's to my liking. I love tteokbokki to death too but it should have a whole lot of cheese cos it's usually spicy. Hahaha i hate that my system can't handle spicy foods and then a lot of korean foods are spicy. And not just spicy, like REAL spicy! Hahahaha. Korea be playing jokes on me. T__T

The one in the train where Taehyung got pranked but he pulled an uno reverse card on them. ๐ Mostly because itโs such an iconic scene and it was really the first time I got to see them โangryโ on camera. I love this episode so much! One, because bangtan and cooking mixed together are a sure chaotic scenario. And two, I love how easily they slip into their own different dialects. You might not realize but to those who can, itโs super duper cute to hear! My favorite is kimchi is fresh cabbage kimchi and we always stock up our refrigerator with a jar bought from our local grocery because my family loves kimchi fried rice and bibimbap! Also we eat it too if we eat meat. Radish kimchi is okay but I like pickled radish more, especially with noodles! The spiciness of the kimchi depends on the maker and how long has it been since itโs fermented. If the maker used spicy paste for it, it becomes spicy and the longer it ferments, the hotter the chili paste penetrates the actual vegetable. Most red chili paste that are in homemade kimchi are made from scratch so they can control the spiciness and saltiness, depends on how the family prefers it. Itโs super funny itโs always Yoongi who corrects the members, especially Jungkook, about filming manners and rules! The way he slyly called him out for having his back turned to the camera and was like โyouโve been doing broadcast for 4 years!โ ๐

But then I found a wonderful lady who makes delicious homemade kimchi and I got a chance to try it fresh then. The taste was way more subtle so i liked it and started getting used to it. Went from eating only fresh kimchi, to cooking with more fermented one, and now I even love really sour/fermented kimchi even as a raw sidedish. Now there is usually always some in my fridge
