The Poli and Yari lore
Added 2023-03-07 19:35:10 +0000 UTCJust saw the event going on with Fanbox and I decided to talk about some Poli and Yari lore because they have always been there from the very beginning.
Poli ain't a very original OC, her design was heavily referenced on Misono Yuki from the H "Maki-chan to nau" which is in fact my very first H and I remember watching that one 2nd episode a lot on my PSP lol
The twintails, ribbons, chocker and shy personality comes from Yuki.
Poli's simple design hasn't really changed a lot, some would say she's the human form of My Melody and you could be right! She's an avid My Melody fan and her bikini has the same color palette of her hoodie. Below the old and new Poli!
Yari on the other hand... She was originally one yandere big tiddie anime girl unoriginally named "Yandi" and funnily enough when Yuri from DDLC came out I immediately saw Yari as one big bootleg lol
I believe she's the character I've re-designed the most.
However... When I became a loli or (for some) a flat shortstack artist I couldn't resist bringing her back. Unfortunately, I never made any use of her first design and instead I re-designed her again later on lol
As you can see, her headband ribbon thing is a huge reference to Kancolle's abyssals (Is that game still up btw?) Below the "old" and most recent Yari:

whoops forgot to finish that with I'm sure somewhere down the track they will make a re-appearance in your releases, no rush, safe to say us fans of your work are happy with what ever is released...into or onto your characters XD

2023-03-09 12:58:05 +0000 UTCAustralia is becoming quiet strict with content laws last I heard ( 2yr+ ago) some poor guy was arrested for having a few gig worth of loli images on his PC, cant recall the whole story but I'd presume he was one of those who cant tell fact from fiction to word it kindly...thanks to that though now and the general change in society the laws consider all imagery of that nature taboo and illegal.

2023-03-08 19:19:36 +0000 UTCahh Maki-chan, I believe I still have that series somewhere in the depths of my "culture" folders, never know when they are going to tighten the noose on content laws where I'm from so always saving a backup for when they lock it down. Nice to read the backgrounds and progression of your characters, like Ultra looking forward to seeing what awaits them.
