I want to talk a little bit about my game development activities.
I've been wanting to make my own size fetish game for a very long time. I've started making a game several times, and I've even had some success. But in all my previous attempts, I had to depend on other people. The thing is, I'm only good at creating images. I don't know anything about programming or game engines, so I entrusted the creation of game algorithms to third parties. I thought I had created a reliable team. Alas, all the teams I had created before failed me.
There were attempts to create different types of games. I started with RPGs. Then there was an attempt to create a visual novel. After the failed attempt to create a visual novel, there were attempts to create two platformers.
Platformer demos are available on the Virtual Disk for patrons. Development of these games has not been abandoned, but is temporarily frozen. I will definitely revisit these games at some point.
As I said, none of the games I started were completed. The reason is that we were not able to organize teamwork. We distributed responsibilities. I did the image creation, while the other team members created the game mechanics, storylines, programming code, and so on.
Despite my critical lack of free time, I always tried to complete all tasks on time. The other team members, however, failed to do so.
I came to the conclusion that the game had to be done entirely alone, without relying on the team. That's exactly what I want to do. I have a good feeling that this time it will definitely work out.
What kind of game will it be?
At first, I wanted to make a game on the RPG Maker engine. This is the most optimal engine for the game that I can make by myself. The functions of the engine is enough for the size fetish game.
The main feature of the game will be a lot of exciting anime style size-difference images.
But, as the game developed, I began to realize that this project is too global.
I changed the gameplay several times, trying to make the game more interesting and more simple. I even had to delete all the locations I had created when I realized (not without the help of my followers) that the gameplay was incredibly boring. Therefore, the current working build of the game has only three locations. I kind of started from zero.
In parallel with RPG I started working on a platformer, the source code of which was given to me by my friend Sam Smith (along with two game engines). I wanted the platformer to be my secondary project, so I focused all my energies on the RPG.
