August Planning

Soo, the update is done and I’m running a few last tests. I’m a bit afraid of some bugs slipping through the cracks or stuff not working, considering everything that I added, but still… I think I already caught everything major! So expect the update tomorrow unless I somehow find something majorly broken that needs a lot of attention!

Now for this month’s plans… I’ll think long and hard on what I’ll be doing for the next update. You see, the best option is to add the fire dungeon and begin to wrap up the ending, but… I really, really am thinking about updating the game’s farm and crafting system. After reworking a lot of the combat, I’ve been left with this desire to update some stuff that I never touch. Namely, expand on how farming works and make it a more important part of the game. I always wanted to find a way to incentivize the player to mess around with the farm, but it never really felt like it was worth it. Just killing mobs and doing quests gives enough gold, and the stamina system is just horrible as it's currently implemented. I’d like the farm/crafting to be the major gold-making way, so that the player would feel the need to at least play around with it. And with that said, I’d also like to add some money sinks. Right now, other than purchasing animals for the farm and equipment/consumables there is no other use for gold. At all!
And of course, there is the crafting system. It… exists, right? But it's not useful at all, and I’m certain it's not worth any attention after the big batch of equipment. So, I’m thinking about adding items only obtained through crafting, killing off the recipes, and just making it more rewarding. As it currently stands, crafting might as well not exist.
Aaaand finally, if we’re talking about crafting, we need to talk about the cooking, but… well, that’s something for another time. I’m still just me, and I can’t do everything I want at once. But updating the farm will give a better reason to update cooking. And probably make the whole system a bit less obscure.

As for the art stuff, my priority is the Spirit of Hatred drawing that won last month's poll and that Elinnie threesome scene I promised! Then I’ll make a suggestion poll in a few days… THEN! I’ll do the art for the fire spirit cutie, and maybe some extra drawings I’ve been looking forward to doing! I’ve been, sadly, stuck at the RPGMaker torture room for most of last month, and I’d like to do some drawings
