I wanted to have answers during this final season but I didn't expect to have that many ! It's so cool to learn the truth about the Vault 33 and in fact about all Vaults, the fact that corporations bought them and decided to make different experiments in each one of them. It's not a surprise but it's awful to have the confirmation that they are at the origin of the end of the world, they committed that huge gen**ide. But what a surprise to discover that Lucy's dad was a part of it, and even worked for the Ghoul's wife !
In fact, this episode makes connections between characters and I didn't expect it. Lucy's mom discovering the truth about her vault, escaping with her kids and then getting ki**ed, with a bomb sent on Shady Sands. So in fact, Maximus' life is like that now because of Lucy's dad. Who worked with the Ghoul's wife. They're all related. I don't even talk about Lucy's mom who was a Ghoul and that her daughter had to finish⦠Lucy felt so betrayed during this episode⦠she broke my heart.

A lot of people told me that normally dogs are named dogmeat but also mentioned it was fun I gave that one this name, but without saying why. Thank you for waiting the end of the season to tell me (you know how much I hate spoilers), and you're right I didn't pay attention to the name of the fuel station. Fun to see how accurate the Rocket nickname was for that dog π Little precision that I can now share with you guys as well : when I said Rocket at first, in my mind I wrote it Rockette. In France, we put "ette" at the end of words, to talk about things which are "little" or that we want to define as little, like something cute, and for names, when you have a "ette" at the end, it's for girls. I told you, my parents have a malinois that they name Rocky, so the female version of it was immediately Rockette for me, the female version of the name and something cute. And it's only when I posted the video that you guys told me "oh, Rocket, so cool !" and I was like "wait, what ?", but it's perfect as well, I can see her as a perfect Rocket β¨

2025-07-24 08:13:31 +0000 UTCI didn't recognize the ghoul Lucy freed but I saw the shadow above the meeting, it was clearly a figure of authority, someone that Barb was afraid of, or at least obeyed to. You can see that the meeting is messy, she looks at the shadow and she takes control of the situation, she says the speech that she came to deliver (because she believed into it or she was forced to say ? I'm not sure). I didn't think about the timing of the bombs, but you're right, it's weird that Barb didn't have her daughter with her during that moment... unless she didn't know herself. Like you said, she's not the boss, she's executing orders, so they wouldn't tell her the when. My theory : we can see how scared she is of that war to come and that her main preoccupation is to protect her girl, they might have used that to push her to work for them, to do everything she did, it's a long brainwashing situation and an infernal loop. From her point of view : you don't want the war, you're afraid of it, so you protect yourself that much against it, you help people who wants to "defend" from it, that much that in fact at the end you think it's better to provoke it but with your rules.

2025-07-24 08:07:04 +0000 UTCI'm not sure if someone already told you, but I find it fun that you call the dog (who the community usually refers to as Four or Dogmeat 2) Rocket, because in the fourth game you meet a very similar dog named Dogmeat at a fuel station called Red Rocket ^_^ I can't remember if you commented on when Four and Thadeus were at the Red Rocket fuel station in the show actually.

At 15:58 minutes in that ghoul was the one that Lucy freed in episode 4. During the secret Vault-Tec meeting with Barb and Bud, there is someone standing in shadow above the meeting. At one moment Barb looks up at this mysterious figure. I have no idea who this could be. Maybe the leader of Vault-Tec? Barb and Bud where executives but they still a boss. Barb said that Vault-Tec was planning to start the war and drop the bombs first. But there's a theory that the war started even before Vault-Tec planned. I believe this because Barb's daughter Janey was outside with Cooper when the bombs dropped. If Vault-Tec dropped the bombs I think Barb would have her daughter safely in the vaults, not outside.
