Hello !
This is the perfect trailer : we can see all of these different places, how great everything looks on screen with perfect costumes, makeups, ways of making pictures, and we have a little for the characters and the scenes. Enough to see that the casting was well chosen and that some are truly promising, and also to understand that the writers of this new show are gonna replicate the big moments but also the simple and little ones that us, fans, we loved so much. A trailer which is making me think that they want to respect the original show AND the fans who loved it. So cool.
For sure, my heart exploded when I saw Iroh on screen. Good surprise with Katara and Sokka. I loved that we also had Suki and Azula during this trailer, I recognized the second so quickly ! Even Momo and Appa had their little seconds of shining on screen. Perfect, really perfect, for a trailer, and we have a date ! I'll see you at the end of february, guys, COUNT ON ME.

That's my main thought at the end of the video : I feel with this trailer that they want to respect the show AND the fans. Pictures, characters, everything look good, they want to replicate the big moments but also the little ones... I forgot about the movie (and never watched it), so yes, I can understand some fans who are scared of this new adaptation, but this trailer is truly promising imo.

2023-11-10 13:13:49 +0000 UTCThe trailer is already significantly better than the first live action movie that *you must not watch* because it's so terrible. I think it's because of how bad that movie was that fans, like me, can be skeptical of this series. We've been burned before and it still hurts. T_T But I'll really have to give it to them, it really looks like they want to be faithful to the original cartoon. I am particularly impressed of the Kiyoshi Warriors. It looks so good. Because this is an adaptation, I'm sure they will change some things, I'm just hoping that the changes they make aren't that bad and make sense within context. I'm definitely going to give this series a fair shot though. Really hoping that the actors are good.
