Hello !

Almost the entire episode is about paparazzis and how far they can go. Taking pictures about private stuff and hurting people through that, pushing celebrities to make mistakes just to have a better photo, hunting them in their worst days, committing illegal stuff just to have a scoop, forgetting human values like helping someone who is in danger… And everything was nice and interesting. But. The end.

During all of the first seasons, Black Mirror explored technological things, to develop around those stories and talked about society subjects. Here, to choose a totally fantastic end for this episode… It totally took me out for a few minutes. I was surprised, I was wondering about finding that in BM. Because clearly, you can take the same episode and create a realistic ending with the girl being taken away by a sect, protected by men with guns, I don't know, you can imagine plenty of stuff. You don't "need" the fantastic solution. So it's a real choice for the writers, an editorial decision. And the next episode convinced me of it.
